According to the poll, which was released Wednesday, the President's approval rating among Americans stands at 42%. That's not great, but it's basically unchanged since March.
Only 42% believe that Obama can manage the government effectively. Again, nothing to celebrate, but it's virtually unchanged from the 43% who felt that way in March.
The poll was conducted for CNN by ORC International from July 18-20, with 1,012 adult Americans questioned by telephone.

And of course CNN is spinning like a top, trying to tell us that a 42% approval rating is not so bad.

If the polls these touts claim are “not so bad,” I wonder what the actual, unfiltered poll numbers are.
I saw one Obama bumpersticker on I95 going into DC. I used to see many.

One needs to subtract the 13.2% that will always support Obama, even if he appears on all TV channels at prime time and eats a baby. That considered, these numbers are already worse than Bush 43 — and even Harry Truman’s. And things haven’t really started to fall apart yet.
All this tells me (if we are to believe this is the truth) is that 42% of my countrymen don’t deserve the freedoms better men have fought and died for...
Sometimes when I see an approval rating like this for this dolt, I think perhaps the Commies had a good idea with their purges.
I never thought it could get to 42%.
There are just too many people who are unencumbered with morals, that will support their leader in socialism, infanticide, racism, etc. regardless of all other considerations.
So CNN finds good in Obama’s 42% .... but they mercilessly slammed Bush for his 43% rating.

The only reason he is not lower than GW Bush is because of race.
He has, according to Gallup, close to 90% approval with blacks.
I don’t recall ANY figure with such a racial bias.
I refused to believe this when I first read it. But then I remembered a few of Jesse Watters’ on-the-street interviews. The masses are so stupid, so ill-informed, so easily deceived....it was scary.
Knowing CNN’s bias, I would guess the poll question when something like, “Would you prefer Obama be president or have bamboo splinters shoved under your finger nails?” And he still only managed 42%..
This is among adults. Not likely or even registered voters. Which is bad. Also sample is D 32 R 24 I 44. D +8. Not likely the electorate in 2014.

You're not alone. My guess he wasn't really “elected” but won by using a typical demodummie tactic called fraudlent voting/cheating. Nobody is stupid enough to not see this fool is incompetent, then again, perhaps they are.....
