I’m sure those glasses are the result of a long heated discussion among Perry’s consultants. Probably the result of polling data showing Perry is not considered bright by a chunk of voters. I bet the argument pro and con would have been fascinating. Might still be going on.

The glasses are a huge mistake. Better to have gotten those half reading glasses - something that at his age he probably needs. Those large Clark Kent glasses look fake.
