I would take a million square miles of rural land to one stinky block of New Yerk city.

I have to hand it to Colorado in building roads to the extremities of its topography. Where else in the US are there roads above 14,000 feet? And heavily traveled mountain passes above 10,000 feet? And roads that go straight up from there to places like Leadville. I’m not sure there are any truly rural places in Colorado when you look at the cosmopolitan populations of Aspen, Durango, Silverton, Ouray, all of which are probably served by Starbucks.

"Wow, what do you rednecks do with all that space and no roads anyway?"
"Unmarked graves."

So according to the little fascist by logical extension, only people who live in areas were their are roads are smart enough to know guns are bad...

I’d like to drop him half way between Dead Horse and Barrow during the spring thaw so he finds out.
The polar bears come off the ice at that time and the grizzlies are waking up hungry...

He ran New York City, not New York State. Two completely separate countries for most practical purposes. The latter has few roads; the former is nothing but roads.

Ya. Probably the same attitude that NYC has about the upstaters.
