Love how Gowdy is running the show behind the gavel.

Maybe he is the one that will head up the next oversight committee

If immunity is what it takes, I’m all for it.

It better be solid testimony.

How does the public benefit from this woman’s being granted immunity? She is (by every reasonable expectation) guilty. If she goes to jail, even for contempt, that might deter the next sycophantic minion at her level. If she walks, it’s one more piece of evidence that they’re all untouchable.

Who really thinks Obama or even Holder will take any hurt, even if she’s got ironclad video evidence? Lerner is the best we can do. Fry her.

You grant immunity to the guy who picked the lock, not the one running the show.

She cannot be trusted. She can take immunity and then mislead the panel. And they won’t be able to do anything about it.

She should be jailed and that will change her mind quickly about all the things she is hiding.

Just like with drug dealers - no deal unless you roll on your boss.

Obama in crisis...

LA Times: We need an independent investigator for the IRS

Just a few days ago, the White House was dismissing the IRS scandal and the sudden disappearance of e-mails from seven key figures as “Republicans … floating a conspiracy theory.” That explanation didn’t fly with the Los Angeles Times, not exactly a bastion of conservative thought in liberal Southern California. The editorial board takes a “pox upon both houses” approach to the “partisan sniping” over the scandal, but also says that an independent investigation is the only way to deal with it:

Sacrifice a pawn for a checkmate on the king. Not a bad idea.

Regardless, they need to do it now. Not some “possible” time in the future.

The Dems thought it would be a good idea to give Oliver North immunity. Not that the cases are comparable, but how did that work out for them.

Lerner is a liar. She is also a moonbat/hardcore Dem/liberal. She cannot be trusted. This is a bad idea.

If this witch were any danger to any higher up at all, she would already be at room temperature. I think Issa is playing catch up. But, that being said, I hope for the best!

If Lerner implicates Obama directly, I could see it. Otherwise, no deal.

If she’s spills the beans, her water heater will mysteriously explode. Or her car. Or her stove. or her electric blanket, or her toaster. etc.
