Here is an excerpt from a column by Susie Madrak over at CrooksandLiars.com, But Perlstein doesn’t mention the big honkin’ elephant in the room: Namely, at what point does the federal government literally go to war with its own citizens? Because we’re not talking about bank robbers here, we’re talking about (mostly) non-criminal cranks — scofflaws and political malcontents. So what line has to be crossed in the good old U.S. of A. before we start mowing them down to make our point? Because you can’t talk about the Bundy ranch without talking about Ruby Ridge, and Waco. So here’s the political corner into which we’ve painted ourselves. Do we have the ATF and BLM agents roll up in armored tanks? Do we use drone strikes? I can see the administration’s reluctance to have that confrontation — after all, it’s not as if gun control advocates were flooding the White House switchboard, screaming to ‘take them out!’ And then we do have the militia types all over the country, just waiting for an excuse to start their own local uprising. These assholes want a civil war so bad, they can taste it.
Um, first off, what the hell is a “gun nut” exactly? Is someone who agrees with you on all of your other political issues but happens to have a collection of 10+ firearms a “gun nut”? Is the Libertarian who owns a handgun for self defense a “gun nut”? Is it only people who disagree with your other political stances?
Second, most gun owners are not sitting around waiting for the second civil war. Most gun owners are people you interact with every single day and you never have any idea that they have a gun safe at home and enjoy going to the shooting range on weekend.

It's never been on a liberal wish list because they had so many items on their sexual depravity agenda, killing 'gun nuts', as high on their priority list that it is for liberals, it is, after all, the gay agenda with all its depraved corollary demands to getting them done had to be dealt with, made to happen first and foremost.
Now, with most gay agenda items having been made part of Americana, they now have the time, luxury, record of success to go after 'gun nuts' and letting the government doing the dirty work that they themselves won't get involved in. "Gun-nuts" by its very definition sounds much easier to dispel, eliminate, facilitate despite the Second Amendment, than say, gay marriage, suing the church for not wanting to officiate gay marriage, all items regarding unnatural, depraved acts of sexuality. Now that they've won, now that they've proven immorality as a viable life alternative, people who own guns seem much easier, legislatively, to deal with and eliminate.
I wonder if Perlstein has ever heard the post-holocaust expression “Never a again!” and has thoughts on its meaning when uttered by an unarmed man.

Well, Susie, if there is a civil war, you’d lose and we’d win. Be careful what you wish for.
A good deal is granting immunity to gangsters and cartels going after antigunners nuts... But since our tuber meant wants to rid of our guns first, I would not be surprised if they have a selective deal with the cartels to take us out first.
Hence if not government, then liberals will request traitor terrorists for help.

Yep, no surprises here.
My advice to others is to avoid satisfying your curiosity.
Something that amazes and infuriates me here is the casual and insistent insulting of anyone who is overweight or obese, especially since statistics tell us that it is almost certain that 50-75% of the people here fall within that category. Is that a “conservative” thing and I somehow missed that meeting? I’m not defending this woman, per se, but I have to believe that many people making jokes and casting aspersions on fat people are they themselves out of shape, flabby, fat, portly, chubby, overweight or worse. Please explain that to me.

...but she’s “big boned”, it’s not her fault.

Most athletes are obese and morbidly obese using those measures.
I saw the Army kick out a perfectly good tracked vehicle mechanic who was Samoan. He went on to a successful career in Sumo wrestling, making a lot more than any E-4 could.
