Stunning: DHS solicited bids for vendor to handle 65,000 unaccompanied minors -- IN JANUARY!
American Thinker ^ | June 20, 2014 | By Thomas Lifson

The Obama administration’s claim to have been surprised by the wave of children flooding over out borders may turn out to be another political lie of the year. Sundance of Conservative Treehouse noticed a very peculiar advertisement:

On January 29th of this year, the federal government posted an advertisement seeking bids for a vendor contract to handle “Unaccompanied Alien Children“.

Not just any contract mind you, but a very specific contract – for a very specific number of unaccompanied minors: 65,000.

• Why would DHS and ICE be claiming “surprise” by the current influx of unaccompanied minors on the border in June, when they were taking bids for an exact contract to handle the exact situation in January?

• Secondly, how could they possibly anticipate 65,000 unaccompanied minors would be showing up at the border, when the most ever encountered in a previous year was 5,000 total ?

the people who are behind Obama are much more serious about retaining the power they've gained than Clinton ever was.

I believe your comment to be absolutely correct. There is two plus years left to flood the nation with democrat voters. Only have to win a handful of states to be elected president.

ICE shipping planeloads of illegal immigrants to Massachusetts

This has been going on SECRETLY for about a month. Just a coincidence, I’m sure.

Not so secret — there are signs up outside my town hall soliciting “host families” for spanish-speaking children. I suspected (knew it!) from the git-go the signs weer related to 0bowow’s cloward-piven act...

Actually, Norm, if I was on a GOP Congressman’s staff, Free Republic would be a mandatory daily/multiple daily check as a minimum.

We make A LOT of breaking news here.

If the GOP would read the posts here, they’d also learn that they’re not liked, because they’ve abandoned conservative principles. They might not do anything about it, but at least they’d hear things their staff never tells them.

Theres a schedule. The contract would have been awarded in Feb.
Think about this. Is there really a company or an industry that this ad is directed to? This isn’t an ad asking to build a jeep. We know who would compete for that contract. Who could possibly compete for this contract? This is 65000 children from infants to high school seniors. I’d bet theres no corporation that could fill this.
This may have been put out in typical stupid government fashion. On the other hand could this have not been meant to be put out at all? Is it possible someone with some knowledge of upcoming events tried to ‘out’ the government?
Honestly, i can’t imagine who this ad would be directed to.

It wouldn’t read 65000. Theres language stating the next 4 years are optional so it it would read up to 65000. This is an amount the government is going to pay for. They picked a high end and used that.

Hi Maggie. If there actually was a company with the ability to fill this contract and i’m very doubtful of that, the size of the contract would be huge.
At $20 a day per child, a number i bet is way way low, it’s 1.3 million per day. Thats over 400 million per year. A winning bid would likely be closer to $50 per day or a cool billion. Of course i might still be low.

The use of children to create a ‘crisis’ has been raised to a whole new level.

Hitler surrounds himself with smiling children.
Saddam gives milk to children.
Obama places thousands of children in danger.

The regime had to have worked with drug cartels to arrange this INVASION and guarantee these kiddies safe passage through 1800 miles of arms, drugs and trafficking.

Who believes peasants in South America could pay enough to cartels to guarantee safe passage for baby Fernando to toddle up here from there?

We are getting squeezed. Cartels to the south of us and the “peaceful” Islamists within. There’s the “army” enforcers there, in that combination.

I do think maybe the orchestrated border chaos is the so-called nudge, knowing TEXAS is ripe for resistance and rebellion, because it is our border that is 1200 miles and is logistically difficult to secure human resources.

A new No Fly zone gets implemented and the border can’t be covered by air, and one grid manipulation can kill lots of on the ground communication ability.

Is that too conspiratorial?

I don't know that drug cartels would need to be involved.

Google La Bestia tren and check some of the articles and images there. The freight trains from the frontier points on Mexico's southern border are each carrying the population of a small town on the roof walkways and tops of cars. Most of them adolescents from adjoining Central American countries, many with backpacks carrying toddlers.

The photos will remind you of those you've seen of the National Railway of India.

What we've heard about Mexico's southern border being "impenetrable" is obviously bunk. And it's evident that the Mexican authorities aren't policing the mobs that are mooching a free ride from, say, Tenosique to Vera Cruz or Mexico City.

And once they arrive in the railroad yards in Vera Cruz or Mexico City, it's a matter of finding another ride north.

You are completely right and I agree. But my point was that these pols have the inside view to the ‘evidence’ and information directly. they do not need to go online to get articles about that info from websites when the information those articles were based on is itself sitting a mouse click away on their very own computer system.

They just don’t want to look for it most of the time as then they would have to do something with it.

“It’s about to get worse. . . Entire villages are emptying out and coming from Central America through Mexico to the United States. They’ll be hitting in the next couple weeks. What you are seeing right now is the tip of the iceberg.”

The Daily Caller reports, “a leaked estimate by a top official in the Department of Homeland Security says the 12-month inflow will reach 90,000 by October, and then grow by another 142,000 in the next 12 months before October 2015.” That’s over 230,000, nearly a quarter million that the Democrats hope to dump on US taxpayers. Soon, this number will have grown by millions.

The train that departs from Nicaragua and heads north to the United States. The train illegally brings an estimated 500,000 people per year to the United States.

The Marxist/Muslim is responsible for this...his Cloward-Piven scheme all going as planned.

You need more zeros. You can’t buy 8 hour daycare for 20 bucks a day. And look at the services that would have to be provided 24-7. My first guess was 200$/day and on reflection it would have to be 500 $/day. The bidders, if there is more than one, would have to be one of the solar power scam outfits that went broke kicking back campaign money to the Kenyan. Besides the election scam implications this is another dirtbag kickback scheme to fund demokrats. Don’t assume the program would be run on the up and up. Minimum care and maximum kickback would be the first page of the required operating manual.

And by the way-—these kids ain’t walking from central America. The Mexicans are letting them ride trains across their southern border all the way to ours. I’ve been seeing news stories on this for months. ABC even tracked a couple of teenage boys to our border and asked them to get in touch if they got across.

This is way too big a program to not be a budget line item. Unless DHS is stealing from another agency it has to be there for all to read——right after we get thru reading the ACA. 500 dollars/day times 65K kids times 5 years should be enough money to fund the dim party until the second coming.

There would be no USCCB Office of Migration and Refugee Services without your money. Go to page 11 of the USCCB 2012 annual report, here. Note that out of a total revenue stream of $70.9 million, government grants and contracts were an astounding $65.9 million. They also garnered another $3.6 million from refugee travel loans (that is your money too!)

Is all this being done JUST to bring in new Democrats?
