Voting started at 7 a.m. here in Iowa and goes till 9 p.m. CST. I'd say Joni Ernst has a 50/50 shot of getting over the 35% threshold and avoiding it being decided at state convention June 14th. She was last polled at 36%, but with 16% undecided and 75% saying they could be convinced to switch to another candidate the race is fluid and shifty.

It might be a very long night here.

You poor thing, I don't know how you manage to live there. For our local elections, all decisions are usually made in the primary. Usually no democrat even bothers to run, very red area. I like it!!!

I can’t believe Cindy Bansheehan actually had the stones to try and run for something again.

I’ll be looking for how many registered voters and how many actually voted.

I want to see how engaged the voting population really is, if turn out is low, then there is little hope for restoring and preserving the Constitution anytime soon.

I think these states would be a good sample, of what to expect in November, if voters are not engaged at this point, well...I don’t know what to think anymore, except I’ll not see any changes, other than the continued doubling down of communism, in my lifetime.

The Green Papers is one of the best composite sites I’ve seen on the web. It’s
been around for many years and I don’t find it to be partisan in presenting the info.
