At least five killed in admin HQ blast as fighter jets deployed to Lugansk, Ukraine

At least five people are reported killed after an explosion in Lugansk administration building. The blast came as Kiev deployed fighter jets to the city in eastern Ukraine. This and heavy gunfire on the ground caused panic among civilians.

The death toll was first reported by RIA Novosti; later it was confirmed by local self-defense forces, who said the blast was caused by the army's fighter jets striking the building.

“Ukraine’s air force struck Lugansk downtown at 16.00 pm. Military aircraft made a targeted strike, deploying cluster bombs. The administration building is partially destroyed,” the government of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic (LNR) said.

Many wounded were trapped inside the administration headquarters, which caught on fire. About six ambulance vehicles have arrived at the site. The death toll may rise.

Those killed - three women and two men - are all civilians, witnesses told RT. One of them was the LNR’s health minister, Natalia Arkhipova. During the air-strike, she was talking to another woman on the administration building’s steps, the self-proclaimed republic’s premier, Vasiliy Nikitin, said.

Large blood stains inside the HQ could be seen on live-streaming video from the area, with pieces of glass and stones also visible on the floor. The camera operator was choking with smoke. On the outside, many windows are shattered, shell fragments covering the nearby area and dark plumes of smoke are coming from the fourth floor.

....”I still think this was a rogue pilot that launched without authorization, but that doesn’t change the facts, or the imagery”....

Or they are going to ‘say’ such as a cover since everything else isn’t working......however....just as in Odessa when they blamed the police and fired the chief.....it is still saying that they have ‘no control of the military nor it’s citizens’.

BTW Did you know that Saudi has pulled Islamic fighters out of Syria to go into Ukraine? We’ll see a lot more brutality as these guys are drug loaded and maniacs for all the heads they can gather.

I've heard the same after Odessa. This is going to backfire on the Kiev regime.

If you find it, I’ll be glad to post it. As of 15 minutes ago, even BBC hadn’t covered this yet, other than a tweet.

Which begs the question: Is it true?

....” This is going to backfire on the Kiev regime”....

The face of the Yats and now Porsh’s regime is and was apparent from the very beginning, and nothing can wash away the stain of what kind of people are running it and how they people chose to install & cement their power, and stamp out opposition......The effects and symptoms we see every day now.

I find it very interesting that as soon as Russia pulled it’s troops back, and confirmed had done so, Pres. Porsh orders military strikes in Eastern Ukraine...even after he said he’d be “visiting them in order to dialog”. Then they wonder why Putin doesn’t co-operate.......there is no communication....Keiv has lost the moral high ground altogether now and that cannot be recovered.

Further as most Russian troops withdrew from Ukraine border Obama pledges more troops & military drills in Eastern Europe? He has no clue the messages he is sending to Ukrainians and the International Community as a whole....let alone Putin.

News update: Kremlin confirmed , Putin will meet Cameron, but not Obama.

Golden Moment for Poland...cha-ching.....As mentioned prior Poland is going to push for US to secure it's country, (at our cost) rather than use their own funds to raise their own army....Foreign Minister Sikorskiradek Calls for Major US Base in Poland.

Ya know all these countries complain about the USin....until they feel vulnerable then they want cry in their own spilled milk for us to protect them after they've squandered their own funds OTHER THAN on their own Military capability as respossible nations.

I said before...Poland was going to milk this cow and they've wasted no time doing so.

Better to have troops in Poland than Germany.

Frankly the way we treated the Poles at Yalta was shameful. We had The Marshall Plan which propped up the nation that destroyed Poland, while the Poles got squat, after the war.

Google Hangout: “The Battle for Truth”

Atlantic Council....Wednesday, June 4, at 11 a.m. for an online only discussion with Viktoria Siumar, ‘Ukrainian National Security Council deputy’, on how her government is overcoming the Russian disinformation machine.

This is where the “feel good” Council members go when they are upset and scared....I can’t imagine Victoria if Ukraines Gov. doing more than continue with the lies, however might be interesting to see what questions arise and watch her squirm...if any even dare to ask!

I don’t want any more of our troops sent to be babysitters of nations who should be building their own Army....Poland certainly can defend itself without our troops there in another base we have to pay for.

We already have a base in Italy....putting a base on Russia’s border area isn’t exactly a smart move...just as going after Ukraine wasn’t.

“Foreign Minister Sikorskiradek Calls for Major US Base in Poland.”

To be fair, the Poles have been trying to get us to move our German forces to Poland for 20 years. They offered us the Soviet’s largest former airbase in Eastern Europe, for free, with unlimited basing rights.

Clinton ignored it, but when Bush entertained the idea, along with the Missile Defense system, the Democrats and the U.S. Media went NUTZ on him. The German Left pretty much shut up about US Forces in Germany, because everybody realized just how many jobs go with it.

The Russians went ape when Bush and Poland came to an agreement in late 2008, of course, and one of Obama’s first actions was to kill it. Remember “Reset”?

Exactly...dang it we don’t need a base there...but I’ll lay you two to one Obama wants to put missiles in Poland as was sought before and opposed.

There’s a lot of nations who have fought in Iraq and Afghanistan....doesn’t mean we have to give them a base.

I’m just so livid at how we continue to incite and provoke the situation before it’s even calmed down in Ukraine.....meanwhile China’s moving against the islands.....Korea’s flapping it’s wings again...Iran moves forward....and they’re all moving fast behind the scenes as well as in the open.

You guys are really FUNNY!! The OSCE are “Kremlin-waterboys” now??

From the Interpreter:

OSCE Confirms ‘Rockets’ Used In Lugansk Explosion

The latest OSCE report is filled with important information, and we will make a full update and assessment in our next update, but the piece that people are focusing on is their write-up of yesterday’s incidents in Lugansk. The OSCE confirms that based on their own observations the separatists headquarters, inside the Regional Administration Building, was indeed struck by rockets fired from a Ukrainian aircraft:

In Luhansk the situation remained volatile. On 2 June, shortly after 15:00 hrs, rockets hit the occupied regional administration building. Based on the SMM’s limited observation these strikes were the result of non-guided rockets shot from an aircraft. The number of casualties is unknown.

A number of Luhansk city and region inhabitants tried to escape the combat zone. The SMM learned that trains to Kharkiv and Kyiv appeared to be fully booked for the next couple of days.

Interestingly, the report does not mention the fighting in southwest Lugansk, where separatists launched a large offensive yesterday morning.
