I newcomer spending only about $4 million with help gets 35% vs a career man that barely gets above 60%. It’s a start.

Eleven points more and he’s gone.

I don’t plan on wasting my gas. But if I live in Kaintuck I’d waste it to go vote for anyone but Mitch.

It has to be said, Bevin outperformed the polls by quite a wide margin. I’d like to see the man in Congress.

I don’t want them to stop speaking their minds but vetting the interview might be smart. Sure, these aren’t consultant picked off-the-rack white teethed robots.

But I’ll take one of them over any RINO anytime. Just look at the crap that comes out of the mouths of GOPe vetted candidates. It’s mumbling incoherence.

The road is long.

Lugar headed the GOP Senate Campaign Committee in 1984 when McC was first elected. He took a special interest in the candidate from his neighboring state. TN though replaced Howard Baker with algore in the same election. And Jennings Randolph defeated John Raese in WV.

I don't live in KY, but I think if I did, I would not vote for McConnell, but I certainly would not vote for the democrat because that sends the message to the elites that the GOP needs to be even more left wing than the elites have made it now. If you want to really send a message, vote for the conservative 3rd party candidate who most closely reflects your own views, or don't vote at all, or hold your nose and vote for the rino. Please do not under any circumstances vote for the democrat unless you honestly feel he would do a better job of representing KY.

I hear you, but it’s almost worth voting for the Lefty to see the RINO rat sink.

I hadn’t heard about the cock-fighting incident. Will you fill me in on that please?

“We picked an idiot who thought Cockfighting was a good idea

Cockfighting like amnesty is a big draw for the illegal alien vote. Im sure some double agent told him he would win the hispanic vote there.

Unlike what it may sound it is not a homosexual jousting sport. Its chicken fighting popularized in the Mexican and cuban communities.

They don’t have to tread lightly, buit in general, if they say something stupid, they need to be ready to put some beat-down on libtardian pundits afterwards. It’s not the stupidity that kills them, it’s the Ah, errr, ahh, duh... afterwards.

The strength of the Tea Party is also its weakness. How can a movement of ideas, that has no official party apparatus, vett a candidate?

No, I’m saying be smart enough to anticipate the traps the ‘Rats and the media will set for you and don’t say stupid things that let you fall into them. Otherwise you’ll spend the rest of your campaign answering questions about “legitimate rape” and witchcraft. Just be ready with reasonable answers and don’t let them draw you into an ambush. Campaign Strategy 101: don’t say or do stupid things. Why is that seemingly so hard for conservatives to understand?

Over two million residents did not vote at all for anyone.

What does that say about b_tch McConnell’s ability to draw votes?

Absolutely correct.

The Republican Establishment/Dims are ready to jump on any slip-up by a conservative, and scream “Look, look at what he/she said, did, or didn’t say!!!! Nevermind that our guy has bankrupted the country, look at that stupid statement the conservative made!!! That disqualifies him/her. You have to elect the Republican Establishment/Dim candidate, who will finish off the country, because we don’t want someone who makes a slip-up even if they will vote to put the country back on the right track.”

Even low-information voters should not be that stupid.

Good point. The voters need to do their homework before nominating candidates.
