BREAKING: “Select Committee” Benghazi Investigation is On… Trey Gowdy Will Chair

Just minutes ago, the world was informed that a Select Committee investigation on Benghazi has finally been announced. This will bypass Barack Obama, Eric Holder, and will likely lead to the impeachment of Barack Obama and the end of Hillary Clinton’s career.

The only question is why this hadn’t been done sooner. Benghazi was a massive system of crimes, cover ups, and outright lies by the Obama administration. Their goal was to win an election in 2012… but the cost might be impeachment in 2015.

Make sure to spread this story everywhere. The American people must wake up and see what’s happening. This is the perfect opportunity for exactly that to happen. Nobody should be allowed to get away with murder — not even the president of the United States.

UPDATE: Other news organizations confirm the report below that House speaker John Boehner will announce the formation of a select committee on Benghazi, led by Rep. Trey Gowdy.

House Speaker John Boehner is “seriously considering” appointing a select committee to investigate the attacks on the U.S. diplomatic post in Benghazi, Libya, according to a senior GOP leadership aide. The move comes after the revelation of an email from a top Obama national security official, Ben Rhodes, instructing Susan Rice to focus on an anti-Muslim internet video to explain the attacks.

“The new emails this week were the straw that broke the camel’s back,” says the aide. “The Speaker was furious to learn that the admininstration withheld relevant documents from a congressional subpoena. He’s sick and tired of this evasion and obstruction from the administration, and wants a solution to finally force accountability, get to the truth, and provide justice.”

Please note that “seriously considering” was the older version of the story — since then, it’s been updated. This IS happening. Justice WILL be served.

My thoughts exactly. The probable outcome options do not include impeach obastard. The possible outcomes include at least these or some combination of these:

1. NO coverage by the lamestream media no matter how damming the evidence is.
2. They get to Gowdy
3. The white hut snuffs Gowdy if they can’t get to him
4. There is a misinformation campaign to destroy Gowdy
5. There is a misinformation campaign to destroy the investigation.

I sadly remember all of the undue excitement here on FR during such news on Clinton’s scandals. Are our memories that short? Has the new generation of patriots not old enough to remember that not studied it?

Off course the Democrats are going to fight this. They are Democrats first....being an American is pretty far down their list. My take from the sparring yesterday is that the Democrats just retreated. Look at the arguments put out by the Democrats. They keep saying that Libya was a real mess. Yep. Made so by the Democrat Obama Administration. Let’s say that Hillary and Obama, for whatever reasons, aided and abetted our enemies in Libya and these enemies then murdered four more Americans. Would Hillary and Obama have committed treason? Put yourself in the Democrats shoes for a minute. Do you want someone finding out that your President and your next Presidential candidate are so stupid that they blundered into committing treason? What would happen to the Democrat party? They would be destroyed. Now you know why the Democrats were trying to change the definition of, and punishment for, treason. Now you know why every Democrat statement is closely scripted to be on record that it didn’t really matter who was murdering Americans in Benghazi. Read Hillary’s “What difference does it make” closely. She was preparing her defense against treason charges. The Republicans just upped the ante on the Democrats. The Democrats will continue to yammer, but now they have to worry, “What happens to the Democrat Party if Hillary and Obama are found to have stupidly committed treason?” What happens to all of them?What a great Summer this is going to be!

I’ve watched every hearing and every time Gowdy was up to question, he drilled in and I laughed at this fine man who didn’t give a s—— what others would think of his method or words. It’s been on Fox news all day after the announcement was released by Boehner there will be a select committee with Gowdy chairing. It’s a done deal that committee is happening.

I predict that Obama will be seriously ill and have to resign. Biden will succeed him and in the effort of moving the country forward, will issue a blanket pardon for him and those involved in the Bengazi affair. The next issue will be who will be the VP. Enough stuff will have stuck to the Bengazi Bunch that we may get a new face who might just be called on to succeed Biden and therefore be able to run as the incumbent.

Democrats will rally around the new incumbent and be willing to cut him or her whatever slack is required to get him or her on the next ballot. Unfortunately for that person, the economy will have crashed and burned sufficiently that we will get a republican controlled house and senate, so that even if he or she gets elected (God forbid!), the country may be able to right itself in a few years.

You probably remember during Bill Clinton’s impeachment the term “Scorched Earth” was thrown around and everyone thought it referred to the release of the FBI files Craig Livingston got.

It didn’t, it referred to the FBI files Janet Reno said she would release if she was confirmed as AG but instead of releasing the files she fired all the US Attorneys.

The files were the 15,000 FBI files on police misconduct from the R King case which Bush 41 had ordered the US Attorneys to review.

Because only 42 cases out of 15,000 complaints filed had been pursued in court, the dems were able to use that to claim police weren’t held accountable because of repub racism and “Ratchet it up to a raging inferno” which was the LA race riots of 1992.

IIRC, there is roughly 3000 to 3500 complaints filed against police with the FBI every year so there is a whole lot of complaints with very few pursued in court.

In 2009 with the Gates “racial profiling” dust up, the first thing the Congressional Black Caucus did was call for a review of all complaints filed against police with the FBI.

That was derailed by Rush when he tied Hillary to it and it cost him an NFL team.

Eric Holder is now in the process of doing a review of arrest to see if there is “RACISM” in the number of blacks arrested.

Holder is already laying the groundwork for the “Scorched Earth Policy”.

Obama may have hijacked this idea of “Scorched Earth” from Hillary but I doubt it.

They are implementing “Scorched Earth” so you can bet Hillary’s behind it.

MILITARY.COM reported (during the post-Morsi ousting in Egypt), that US Pentagon officials declined to give specifics on conversations between DOD's Chuck Hagel and brilliant tactician Egyptian Gen al-Sisi, who replaced Morsi.

(NOTE Gen al Sisi, 58, received a masters degree from the U.S. War College in Carlisle, Pa, in 2006. The General is revered by Egyptians for routing the Muslim Brotherhood which Egyptians consider a terrorist organization.)

Although officials would not discuss the specifics of the military-to-military talks, the US would need Gen al-Sisi's approval to move through Egyptian air space if Washington decided to send Marines to aid in the evacuation of U.S. personnel.
