In light of leaked emails regarding the 2012 Benghazi attack, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney and Fox News White House correspondent Ed Henry went head-to-head during Thursday’s press briefing. At one point, the press secretary took a jab at the reporter and his employer. He is cashing in. He doesn’t care about the damage. He makes me recall the various alien invasion movies where some humans are working with the aliens even though they know the aliens plan to enslave and destroy humanity.

1. President was drunk or stoned the night of Benghazi and could not be made coherent.
2. It was a set up to get the ambassador captured (either for a great rescue mission, or to release the shiek) but went badly for all of the deceased and team Obama.
3. Russian and/ Syrian operation to stop our rebel supply operations in Syria.
4. Obama wanted the homosexual Stephens dead or captured for son reason other than those in #2.
5. Just gross incompetence by Hillary, Obama and all the harvard/yale ivy league child like leftist in this bad joke of an administration.
6. I guess you could ad that Obama enjoys embarrassing the United States, but in this case it isn’t likely a cause because he needed to not get blown out in the election so that the urban vote stealing machine could work its magic.
I'm old enough to know that "bold-faced" is recent usage. Here's information cribbed from a couple of sources:
The original term seems to have been bald-faced (bare-faced) and refers to a face without whiskers. Beards were commonly worn by businessmen in the 18th and 19th century as an attempt to mask facial expressions when making business deals. Thus a bald-faced liar was not a very good liar, and was not able to lie without the guilt showing on his face.
It's just the last 5 years or so that "bold" has come into usage. It refers to a typeface. It is used metaphorically in speech. In the same way that a typesetter uses bold face type to highlight specific text and set it apart, a bold face lie stands out in such a way as to not be mistaken for the truth.

2)A detailed accounting of Nero's where abouts,actions, company and travel until his campaign event in Vegas the next day. 3) How much time did Nero spend in the special situation room watching the events unfold during the attack and the hours afterwards.
Thanks Nachum. Jonathan Karl of ABC tore Jay Carney a new one, or perhaps rather only appeared to be doing so, setting the stage for Carney to tell the ridiculous lie that those emails about Benghazi weren’t about Benghazi. Carney and the rest of the regime should be doing the perp walk right now.

A reporter should say “come on Jay. You’re lying to us and engaging in a coverup of a coverup. You are the spokesman for the President. The American people deserve the truth. Any attack on the US in a muslim country that occurs on 9/11 is islamic terrorism”.

Ask yourself this... what does 'bald faced' even mean ? What relevance does the term 'bald faced' have to the word 'liar' ?
My guess is that the term 'bald faced' came about through ignorance, but was in enough use that it got put into the lexicon as 'acceptable'.
