The Fox News host grills a member of the militia movement on why it's OK for Bundy to break the law but not OWS.
To a significant degree, American politics is a story of insiders vs. outsiders, so its inevitable that people among the latter group would be lumped together, even if theyre quite different by any other measure.
Still, its probably fair to say that when most people think of Nevada renegade rancher Cliven Bundy, the Zuccotti Park protesters of Occupy Wall Street dont immediately or eventually come to mind.
Yet on the Tuesday night edition of his Fox News show, host Bill OReilly drew that very comparison when he had a pro-Bundy militia man as a guest.
Whats the difference between Mr. Bundy and the Occupy Wall Street crew, that doesnt respect the federal government for a variety of reasons and feels it has a right to go into a city like Oakland and burn things down? OReilly asked.
The militia-founding Bundy supporter, Scott Shaw of Oklahoma, who seemed a bit surprised by the question, answered that Bundy, unlike OWS, provides America with beef.
Hes a cattle rancher Hes providing the country with beef, Shaw responded before adding, The Occupy movement to this day, I still dont know what theyre providing the country with.(continued)

Because Bundy supporters aren’t doing a smokescreen campaign to re-elect Obama?
Huh? How could Mr. Obama be re-elected? Or did you mean Michelle?
there was so much win in this question if answered correctly...
Slate or Salon, which is more phaggoty.
Ted needs a primer on the Sagebrush Rebellion. Dumb POS.
.... Well heck .... What makes O'Reilly any different that Bill Maher?
... Two can play that game!
Bundy supporters take showers.
memo to Ted O'Baxter - Bundy is "breaking" peasant law.
I've lost interest in The Royals squealing about peasants breaking "peasant law".
Have a nice cup of STFU, Ted.
Bundy Supporters actually WORK for a living.
“Typical Ted Baxter.”
My primary question is when is he moving? Next question: to CNN or MSNBC?
I don’t bother to watch him anymore.
Bill O’ Really ??
Does anyone listen to that sock puppet?
OWS was a re-election campaign for Obama, moving the blame of the recession from the White House to Wall Street.
The OWS founder David Graeber said, “Im personally convinced that if it were not for us, we might well have President Romney.” http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2013-09-12/occupy-wall-street-founder-david-graeber-on-the-movements-future
OWS were a bunch of pampered, whiney freeloaders wanting the Fed Gov to give them “other people’s stuff”. The Bundy crowd are independent, self sustaining Americans that understand the definition of freedom!
Well gee..I guess if OWS was occupying a chunk of barren land for 120 years to make a living, Bill might have a point

Bill the airways are also public property controlled by the FCC..if they deside one day you could no longer use those airways to make a living just because they can... you be cool with that...
I believe that Fox News is a cable entity, not broadcast.
O Reilly was on radio also..as for fox being just cable..it is also on satellite so it is on a air broadcast media...
but consider, let say because he is a global warming denier he is prohibited from any over the broadcast because it public air waves.
The point being the metaphor for free speech “ The Public Square” got it name because it use to be in the public square or property..ie on public land..
Was but is no longer.
What makes Bill O’Reilly different from Steven Cobert?
