Of course I agree with you. But that is not a substitute for diligence. There’s not a time when I get in my truck that I don’t think about that 1911 in my console and whether it needs to be there. NEVER. It’s the same when my grand children come over - where are my guns?

local militia just ought to go pick him up and carry him out of the state and arrest the local government for violating the constitution. This has to stop, and it has to stop now.

I see what Gaffer is saying, but I agree, a constitutional right is a right and doesn’t matter where you are in the US.

Unfortunately, “What is”, trumps “What should be”. We CCP holders of upstate NY live with this reality all the time. Packing heat can be more trouble than it is worth in our neck of the woods. God forbid if you had to use your weapon. No matter how justified, your life would be changed forever.
