PeakFeed: Well-Known DC Prognosticator Says Udall Loses Come Fall (Buh Bye Udall)
Colorado Peak Politics ^ | April 21, 2014 | ColoradoPeakPolitics

"PeakNation™ time to put the chocolate bunny down and get back to work. On a day when many across the country were celebrating a resurrection, well-known and well-respected prognosticator Stu Rothenberg stated one thing that won’t be resurrected come November is liberal Senator Mark Udall’s political career."

Rothenberg on CNN. 12 second video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ylz5G_f-XIM

TOPICS: Politics/Elections; US: Colorado
KEYWORDS: co; colorado; corygardner; elections2014; markudall; senate; udall; ussenate
This prediction is a pretty safe bet. Udall is getting hammered everyday in ObamaCare ads, and Gardner looks to be a good senatorial candidate.

Udall will loose if GOP keeps the message on Energy, gun control and taxes.

Good, the Udall family is a blight on the west. Tom Udall is a NM senator, and completely worthless.

Never, EVER underestimate the stupidity of the Colorado Repulsican party.

Ever!

They define idiocy, stupidity, and incompetency.

Unfortunately, the national GOP is trying to eclipse them in stupidity by trying to ram through amnesty for their Chamber of Commerce paymasters.

The Udalls have been pests in American politics since Mo Udall was around...

I think Tom can be taken down, presuming the NM GOP doesn’t put up an old guy like Allen Weh and goes with David Clements instead.

Yes, I’ve noticed that in the past. They have made some
changes this year to maximize their chances for winning. They are more unified.

1) Minimized or cancelled primary candidate debates in the senate and governor races that has given Dems ammo in past general elections.

2) Gardner and Buck switched election positions. Buck running for Gardner’s old house seat. They believe Gardner has a better chance at defeating Udall.

Since he votes with the Obama agenda 99% of time, his office could easily be replaced by a vote casting robot.

We spend a lot time blaming Obama for the failures and scandals in government, and rightly so, but it is Democrat poodles like Udall that make it all possible.

I was at a commercial real estate event in DC back in 2006 when Stu Rothenberg stated that some guy named Barrack Obama could and probably would beat Hillary Clinton for the 2008 nomination....Everybody in the room thought he was crazy.

Rothenberg, when asked to predict a “surprise” says Udall will lose. That wouldn’t really be a surprise.

Related: Governor Chickenlover is weak in a recent poll

CO GOV (Quinnipiac): Gov John Hickenlooper (D) 46%, ex-Cong Bob Beauprez (R) 41% ... Hickenlooper 44%, St Sen Mike Kopp (R) 40%. : Gov John Hickenlooper (D) 47%, ex-Cong Tom Tancredo (R) 42% ... Hickenlooper 44%, Sec of St Scott Gessler (R) 41%.

Gessler polling the best, same as the last poll I saw. He trails by 3. Beauprez is trailing by the same margin as Tancredo, 5 (though I think Beauprez’s chances would be much better, I doubt Tancredo could win.)

I think Gessler would be the best to run here, as he has won statewide. Running a 2006 or 2010 retread is a bad idea.

I hope this is correct. This could be make or break in Colorado across the board.
