Top Socialist Economist Says He’s Been Working With Democrats & Obama “For A Long Time”

Have you ever wondered why the Obama Administration’s plans for improving the U.S. economy always seem to fall flat? It just might have something to do with the fact that the Obama Administration has been working with someone who doesn’t like capitalism.

According to an article on France24.com, a well known economist who isn’t fond of capitalism, but promotes Socialism, has been working with the Democrats and the Obama Administration “for a long time”:

In his latest book, French economist Thomas Piketty warns that modern-day capitalism leads to unsustainable levels of inequality. While he is often linked to France’s Socialist Party, his writings have made him unusually popular in the US.

Thomas Piketty’s “Capital in the Twenty-First Century” has only just been translated into English – several weeks ahead of schedule, due to popular demand – and the New York Times’s star columnist Paul Krugman has already described it as “the most important economics book of the year — and maybe of the decade”.

The French economist’s current US book tour is turning into something of a red carpet event. So far this week, he has met the White House’s Council of Economic Advisors as well as Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew.

“The Democratic Party, especially the Obama administration, has been in contact with us and using our findings for a long time,” Piketty told AFP in Washington.

Well, we all knew Obama was a socialist since he was elected.

Remember Joe the Plumber?

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)

Now we know he’s been getting advice from international socialists.

What a shock.

Obama’s a Marxist?

There’s a shocker.

That’s probably why he’s so intent on transforming the United States into a carbon copy of the old (and failed) Soviet Union.

Join the queue, Comrades, and get your new carboard shoes; and if you’re lucky, maybe a bit of sausage this month.

"In his latest book, French economist Thomas Piketty warns that modern-day capitalism leads to unsustainable levels of inequality." Obama's policies have resulted in greater inequality. Full employment reduces inequality, because it creates upward wage pressure.

If said inequality is truly unsustainable, it would seem that all they have to do is sit back and watch it collapse on itself...

It could be argued that the same is true of communism and most monarchies, especially if by "unsustainable" the author means "unpopular."

It’s more than socialism being practiced in Europe, it’s a virulent form of European fascism. It hasn’t slipped into NWO Nazism yet, but give it time.

“Remember Joe the Plumber?”

Vaguely.
Oh yes, now I remember.
That was the cue for all the journalists to ask B0 pointed questions about his favorite economists, authors, economic and fiscal theories, as well as his vision for what an economically transformed America would look like.

Actually the premise is probably flawed. I can think of countries that have extreme inequality that has been sustained for decades. But they aren't wealthy countries. Excessive inequality makes for big fish in small ponds. But equality should never be our goal. Wealth creation and full employment should be our goals.

We need people to get on these shows and attack the premise. equality may sound good but is not desirable. We want wealthier successful people that will hire poorer people. We also need less regulation so more poorer people can become wealthier people.

The six contradictions of socialism in the United States of America:

1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.

2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.

3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government.

4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.

5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.

6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries.

That, my friends, pretty much sums up the USA in the 21st Century.

Get out and vote and set this country back on its course!
