Obama strips our military while building own militia

It is the responsibility of the federal government to protect the United States from "invasion."

How is it possible that top administration officials have directed 21,000 border patrol officers to retreat or distance themselves and seek cover in response to thrown or hurled projectiles from illegal aliens or drug smugglers? They are directed to keep their weapons holstered when drug smugglers drive by, and agents can't use guns against a fleeing vehicle. Instructions also indicate that officers will be penalized if they don't step back.

The new rules were issued this March by Michael Fisher, chief of U.S. Border Patrol. In a news conference, Fisher told reporters that our agents would be equipped with short-range tasers and pepper spray plus medium-range pellet guns, to deter attacks.

With all of these restrictions, how can we protect our borders? How are we protecting our own Border Patrol people? Does this Administration even think about protecting Americans?

Americans embrace and encourage legal immigration. We have laws for people to acclimate to American society. The first rule is recognition and respect for the rule of law. Crossing the border illegally makes a person a criminal, but the Border Patrol now is forced to ignore this crime.

Curiously, at the same time, President Obama is building a nonmilitary "national security force" -- the one he referenced when he said the following in his 2008 campaign: "We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national-security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded."

Obama is purging our military of generals and officers, cutting our military budget and advocating gun control, but building a vast arsenal of weapons and ammo under DHS. Border agents have the most dangerous job in federal law enforcement; if they are being told to refrain from using lethal force on the job, why is DHS hoarding bullets? According to a new General Accounting Office report, the DHS is planning on buying a huge amount of ammunition ? 703 million rounds through fiscal year 2018.

It's not only Homeland Security; other agencies are becoming more and more militarized under Obama's watch. Domestic agencies having nothing to do with national defense, such as the Department of Education, the Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Postal Service, and the Social Security Administration are also stockpiling ammunition and weaponry.

Obama's strategy: Take away guns from innocent citizens so they can't fight back, shred the Constitution, defile the military, and build your own shadow army through federal agencies.

George Washington said: "A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government."

Obama's target isn't Putin. It's us.

The states need to stand up to this.

You just saw some of his Militia in action against Mr. Bundy in Nevada. And the people on the Texas - OK State Line around the Red River will probably see them in action sometime soon.

My question is, what talking points are they ,Obama's Militia ,a/k/a the BLM, going to convey to their moles and plants on this forum to demonize the people there, a/l/a Mr. Bundy?

To all those who ask *why* cops are increasingly willing to kill peoples’ dogs.

Target practice.

In his own words:
“We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.” Barack Hussein Obama, 7/2/2008
They don’t call it a Civil Defense force, that would imply we need (or perhaps that we deserve) defense.

The official name is National Civilian Community Corps. I think of it as the NATCCC, or more simply as the NatCs...

True That Why else would so many Gov agencies need weapons, tanks, ammo, other than to be used on the American People.
A post office in Kansas is for sure not gonna see battle unless the Navy, US Army, Marines, Air Force, and countless NG units fail.

Law Enforcement

"The president's role in law enforcement rests on the constitutional requirement that the president “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” The president serves as chief executive of what has become a vast law enforcement apparatus. Should assistance be needed, the president can invoke the authority of “commander in chief” and deploy the armed forces, including units of state militia, to enforce the law."

Presidential law enforcement powers have grown in rough proportion to enlargements in the responsibilities and power of the national government itself. Over the years Congress has added greatly to the law enforcement duties of the president. One dramatic example of this use of presidential power came in 1962, when John F. Kennedy ordered U.S. marshals and regular army troops to quell riots protesting a court order that required the University of Mississippi to integrate its student body by admitting a black student, James Meredith.

It seems that Harry Reid is recklessly instigating further unrest by calling Patriotic Americans "domestic terrorist".....a cheap political ploy to get those who disagree with Mr. Reid to fire the first shot.....Obama can then step in and have the oppressor with draw or.....

There is a point where government action (i.e. killing civilians, confiscating property, haebus corpus, etc.), causes a spark that cannot be extinguished. It's happened twice before. I pray it doesn't happen again.

It is the responsibility of the federal government to protect the United States from "invasion."

According to the Constitution, the above statement is not entirely correct with respect to who, between states and feds, has responsibility to protect the US from invasions. More specifically, consider Clause 3 of Section 10 of Article I.

Article I, Section 10, Clause 3: No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded [emphasis added], or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.

The problem with the "invader," illegal immigrants in this case, is that they are simply walking across the border instead taking a more aggressive approach to entering the country. The following football video illustrates my point. Keep your eye on the quarterback in the white jersey.

Trick Touchdown American Football

Also, as mentioned in related threads, the states have never delegated to the feds, via the Constitution, the specific power to address immigration issues, the states uniquely having the 10th Amendment-protected power to regulate immigration imo.

We need to support the Convention of States proposed by Citizens for Self Governance and vote for whoever is as determined to take the federal government down at least 80% as Obama was to increase government.

If it’s under the control of the federal government, it’s not a militia.

And no, these are not US military members, they are alphabet soup "agents." Almost every Federal fiefdom has them now.

Hey, but at least the Palestinians still love him.

Why on Earth are people striving to become American, knowing full well that once they become an American, the US government will fail to protect them ?

The same administration that gives orders to retreat from engaging illegal aliens and drug smugglers gave a shoot to kill order against American Citizens trying to reclaim some cows for a rancher.
