Words fail, good thing cause I’d probably get banned from FR for posting what I’m really thinking.
Stupid wench, slandering veterans. I hope that your pagan god of KARMA lays one on you.
If she is sincere, she is an obvious dupe; but the formula is very obvious. The assemblage of what is offered as being relevant is the same formula regularly used by Leftist hate groups that are always on the lookout for material with which to smear patriotic Americans. Consider looking at the frothings of such groups as the SPLC & ADL, who avowedly--boastfully--keep a watch on "patriots," as a threat.
See How To Recognize The Bigot.
I have been observing the use of the formula for over half a century; and, while it is sickening to see them get away with it, the only answer is to persist in pointing out the actual reality to all who will listen.

This is the next step of a campaign that is ongoing.
The entire thing is a steaming pile of Obama.
‘The radical right wing klan’? Does this idiot know that the klan was/is 100% demonrat?
This reads like it was written by a 14 yr old liberal that flunked history.
“What the heck is a post doctoral?”
An Assholiats degree?
I’m just representing. I know she’s a stupid trust-fund liberal. I just wanted to maker her at least consider being honest.
She calls herself a scholar-activist in the video from post 32 (around time 4:50)
"I say that as a woman and as a scholar-activist"
Pretty impressive.
Standard for this administration.
I am astounded he got a 2nd term.
(Of course, there were irregularities, dead folks voting multiple times and general scummy procedures in many urban areas.)
Bingo
More like a cornholio degree and the mentality to match the caricatures who used the term.
Yes it is...
Pure pap for the low information voter.
If you're too lazy to do basic fact-finding, then the Lamestream will be happy to provide you with false facts to steer your thinking and voting patterns.
Evil helpers like Ms. Belew are just there to provide a sheen of 'intellectualism'
Don't you see? She's very noble and open-minded.
If a few facts get ignored for the greater good of a 'post-racial' society (whatever that would be) then so be it!
I didn’t follow the link to Kat Belew’s article, but from the excerpt she and NKVD seem to make false inferences. For a handful of members of any large group to join any sort of organization is not news, and means zip. A valid question would be, “what percentage of “veterans” become involved in the Klan, Neo-Nazi and/or violent actual racist groups, versus the percentage from the entire population? If veteran participation is unusually high, maybe that is significant. Surely, a post-doctoral whatever knows this.
How very conservative of you, asking logical questions.
Your kind are slowing the move 'Forward' for 'Change.'
Does Kathleen Belew of the New York Times know that HER newspaper helped cover for the ONLY modern KKK member to serve in the Senate? And actually LEAD the Senate. A KKK member who led his local klan chapter? Hey Kathleen have you seen this? Odd how this liberal was so easily ‘forgiven’ and his filth covered up so completely... I don’t think that would have happened if he had been a Republican.
What the heck is a post doctoral?
It sounds like she submitted her doctorial, and it hasn’t been accepted.
Some universities have some fairly high standards re the proper use of English, research and not using someone else’s data like Biden with a speech.
That would be a predoctoral fellow, commonly known as a grad student.
She is listed on Northwestern's History Department faculty page under Visiting Faculty, as a Postdoctoral Fellow. She got her Ph.D from Yale in 2011. According to her bio page:
Her first book, Bring the War Home: Vigilantism, Race, and Violence from Vietnam to Oklahoma City (under contract, Harvard University Press) will trace the circulation of violence from the Vietnam War, to Central America, to the United States, following a small but influential group of veterans who became mercenary soldiers and then joined racist right groups at home. Their movement united Klansmen, neo-Nazis, skinheads, proponents of Christian Identity, and more; declared war on the government in 1983; and reshaped itself as the purportedly nonracist militia movement in the 1990s. Belew examines the relationship between veterans and racist movements throughout the twentieth century, circulations of military weapons and technology, and connections between seemingly disparate racist groups.
Forgive the length of that sentence. But you get the idea. The clear & aggressive use of the formula is the tip-off that you will have a very, very difficult time getting her to actually reason outside the box into which she has been indoctrinated.
