Nevada Cattle Rancher Wins ‘Range War’ With Feds

This is the power of social media. This is the power of personal video cameras. This is the power of citizen journalists. And the next time Senator Feinstein calls for “licencing” only “legitimate journalists,” that the 1st Amendment only extends to people who work at the New York Times, Washington Post, or MSNBC, remember this moment. This is how the bullies with the power, the cronies and their allies, are turned back.

Dianne Feinstein First Amendment Is A Special Privilege

This is not about a rancher owing the Bureau of Land Management money. This is about a federal government which just assumed control of public land years ago (not government land like military bases or federal courthouses – though the taxpayers do pay for these too) changing the rules and telling citizens to lump it. It’s about a central authorities passing regulations in Washington with little regard, indeed contempt for the little guy out in flyover country.

Well the little guy stood up this time and other little guys came to his aid. This is how it’s done. Film it. Share it. Get the word out.

And always remember your 1st Amendment right. It is the 1st Amendment for a reason.

(From ABC News)

However, today the BLM said it would not enforce a court order to remove the cattle and was pulling out of the area.

“Based on information about conditions on the ground, and in consultation with law enforcement, we have made a decision to conclude the cattle gather because of our serious concern about the safety of employees and members of the public,” BLM Director Neil Kornze said.

“We ask that all parties in the area remain peaceful and law-abiding as the Bureau of Land Management and National Park Service work to end the operation in an orderly manner,” he said.

The roundup began April 5, following lengthy court proceedings dating back to 1993, federal officials said. Federal officers began impounding the first lot of cows last weekend, and Bundy responded by inviting supporters onto his land to protest the action.

“It’s not about cows, it’s about freedom,”

Wow. So it wasn’t about a tortoise.

I had heard rumors but didn’t know if it was true or not.

I’ve been repeated asking this question hoping someone know or can find the answer

Is this land in NV or the land targeted by the BLM in TX or CO used as collateral for any of the Chinese loans?
There were threads back awhile stating that the loans from China were secured with federal lands
We need to know ASAP !

They'll show up with APC's, Tanks, drones, electronic warfare, Logistics convoys and a lot of those millions of rounds of ammo purchased by the gubmint. They'll also have satellite imagery and airborne imagery to boot. The state and local gubmint sided with them so there is no stopping it. The only way is to build bunkers in strategic areas and fortify them. Does anyone really believe they won't be back after being embarrassed by the local "hicks"?

Dirty Harry and Son are probably drawing up the plans as we speak!

"They are vindictive and manipulative, they will bide their time and strike when Bundy is caught off guard."

This is precisely the situation about which Jefferson (IIRC) was thinking when he said: "The price of freedom is ETERNAL VIGILANCE."

This has a long way to go. Bureaucrats are always looking up the chain for guidance, and the local BLM clearly didn’t have it in this case.

So they withdrew.

Now the Feds at higher levels are organizing to find who who is these protests, what special skills they may have, intent, leadership of the group, etc.... Washington at the highest levels is now cranking up its intelligence capabilities, and also drawing up scenarios and PR.

Round 2 will come shortly.

I think an important battle was won here by the freedom loving people. It has far reaching implications. We need to reflect on what we did here and why is was righteous.

1. 200 armed, gear queer JBT appear for basically ONE rancher defying a court order is perceived by freedom loving people as a huge provocation and overkill (fortunately not literally). So this was a “wake up” call for many people who wouldn't have cared otherwise. So on this one item alone, the government starts off stupid and heavy-handed.

2. The peoples' response. So MANY went to Nevada. They quickly outnumbered the 200 feds. That made the optics for the government look horrible in an election year. Even when your an Obamass kissing toady, THAT many people standing up to armed thugs has an appeal to Americans based on our culture of rooting for the little guy. Very powerful thing to see, thousands of people risking their lives and prosperity to defy what they perceive to be grave wrong and affront to Liberty.

3. We prayed for God's help. Do NOT overlook this aspect. Not now or in the future. As St Paul said in Romans, “If God is for us, who can be against us?”

4. The whole world was watching. Read the British press. Read the posted comments. You would be amazed! The government knew, too. And certain countries foreign press would LOVE to turn this on Obama, given Syria and the Ukraine, for example. Again, optics. Election year. Power versus innocence. Think Alinsky.

5. By ignoring this, ignoring the IRS scandals, ignoring Benghazi, Fast and Furious, voter fraud, etc, etc, the media loses more and more prestige, and whatever viewers they have left.

Do not ignore the power of my number 1 above. When when I showed the pictures to even Low Information Voters, they were furious. There is something visceral about it when people see what appears to be heavily armed forces lined up against American civilians. People DO NOT want any more Wacos. The government actually really stepped on their cranks with that one.

Time to use it as a campaign issue against them.

Tie every demoncrap senator to Hairy Reed and O’bastard, then flog them with it until even they think they’re at fault!

**When when I showed the pictures to even Low Information Voters, they were furious.**

Yesterday an estimated 200K people showed up for a victory rally for the UCONN basketball teams. Wonder how many of them cared one wit, or knew about Bunkerville, NV?

The confrontation was a huge PR debacle. There’s no doubt there’s some screaming and ass kicking going on behind closed doors. The aftermath won’t be pretty. They’ll be back with vengeance on their minds. Bundy has to pay for making them look like fools. You can bet more pressure will be applied next time with lots more reinforcements.

They need to be met again with resolve and a whole lot more.

King Obama and his communists empire will not hesitate to kill Americans. There Ranchers all over the country will be executed. Probably will not happen until the 2014 elections and then all hell will break loose. America is on the verge of a hard civil war and hope that if we win there will many before the firing squad.

Well if Bundy needs money to defend himself, this is the next front for "Good men to do something".

Anybody know of a site where donations could be sent?

What part of this do you NOT understand.
A court order is only as good as law enforcement back its up.
BLM tried to back it up until they got way outnumbered by
Patriot armed militia...with probably thousands more on the way
to support Bundy until BLM waived the white flag.
