Irony: Chinese Solar deal could start next American revolution at Bundy ranch
Pure Energy Systems News ^ | 4/12/14 | Sterling D. Allan

A heated situation in Nevada -- standoff between 140-year homesteading family rancher Cliven Bundy -- and BLM, apparently has its origin with a sweetheart $5 billion deal between Senator Harry Reed and the Chinese to put solar panels and manufacturing on the land.

I would imagine that most of you have been following the events taking place at the Bundy ranch in Nevada, USA, which are escalating into a tinder box that could foment the next American revolution, pitting patriots who believe in the Constitution against the tyrants who have been usurping freedom in the nation for decades.

Each day, the situation gets more tense. The heavily armed BLM Feds, some 200 strong, have used contractor rangers (with a mercenary reputation) to round up Bundy's cattle, separating mothers from calves, causing them to die, chasing cattle with helicopters to drive them to exhaustion. The feds are destroying the watering infrastructure that has been in place for 140 years, are taking down road signs about the cattle and cattle guard crossings; are pointing sniper riffles as the assembled protesters; have thrown a pregnant lady to the ground; have tased and arrested several people, including Bundy family members; have set up then removed "free speech zones" (as if any such designation is not applicable anywhere in the country); and generally are acting extremely imperious, trying to intimidate the gathering crowds.

Meanwhile, patriots from around the country have begun to arrive in support of Bundy, including several militia groups, who are not afraid to fire their weapons if needed. They are reinforced by local ranchers who are tired of the strong-arm tactics of the BLM that have been driving many of them out of business over the last few decades.

What has Harry Reid’s involvement been in this debacle? We deserve answers; especially since the Feds have seemed hellbent on starting WWIII about this matter. - Mr. Bundy stated on radio yesterday that he has been paying grazing fees to the state. Something is rotten here; and it’s not in Denmark!

It seems that Harry Reid knows that he’s going to lose the Senate so he made his move. But if any one thinks Mitch McConnell, if relected, is going to investigate Reid’s actions on the Chinese solar farm, they’re not living in the real world.

Mr. Bundy’s business will be destroyed. My advise: Sue, sue, sue and prosecute Harry Reid & Son, and the BLM.

Twinkie:" What has Harry Reid’s involvement been in this debacle? We deserve answers.."

American land is up for sale to foreign investors
The FED values a toothless tortise over open range rights,
except that they are erradicating and euthanizing the tortise due to lack of private funds .
Harry clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of cronyism
and the fact that American Federal Govt. is also up "for sale " .

A most interesting paragraph:

“One thing that needs to be remembered here is that the BLM has been serving to provide collateral for foreign debt for decades. And now, it seems the foreign holders of those notes want more than just a piece of paper. They want access to the land they own.”

Yeah, what’s the deal here, these are supposedly STATE lands and not Federally controlled. Bad enough the Feds usurp control over rivers and other natural boundaries between states, but to proceed to just wholesale claims of ownership without any shred of title involved is the most tyrannical form of eminent domain.

Might be more believable if he had spilled Reid’s name right.

The federal government puts me in mind of a junkie who is selling off his blood and vital organs for dope money until he finally dies. How much more of our sovereign nation can we part with before we, too, cease to exist?

Those who don’t get off of the government-linked energy teat here very soon are going to be hurting in the near future. Even more investors with government and government-linked incomes are running to commodities in stampeding herds (like propane, power plants, natural gas, gasoline, etc.). That means prices will go up much more to serve your friendly neighborhood bureacrats/investors.

Nearly everything else is cheap and made in cheap countries. Finally—both cheap PV modules and manufacturing jobs!

Revolution will never happen with this latest incident. Reid was re-elect wasn’t he. It’s the gambling establishment that re-elected him. Most Nevadaians would rather sit in front of a pin-ball machine in a casino then have any sympathy for a rancher.

This is potentially the start of a much larger issue.

Up until now, the Chinese have been poor and so not an international force.

However now China is becoming much less poor. Yet still China is not an open country.

Americans and other nations, cannot buy land or companies in China.

This is a growing and very important issue.

What is happening now, is that Chinese investors are buying up American land, but American investors are forbidden to buy Chinese land.

What is happening now, is that Chinese investors are buying up American companies, but American investors are forbidden to buy Chinese companies (except as minority owners).

China is now the world’s largest exporter.

This is an issue. A big issue.

Now.

That BLM land 288,000 is acres. The Chinese want to build a manufacturing plant on 9,000 acres.

The government has been subsidizing PV solar module factories for American big shot lefties in government-connected energy companies and losing money on those. Think about it. It’s obvious, as to why PV modules are so special compared to other products and have been getting special protection against imports (government-connected sugar daddies).

And look at what’s coming with energy prices. Folks with government incomes have already had their grid-tied, PV electric monstrosities installed by “professionals” with tax breaks and rebates. What will the rest of you do, when the costs of electricity go up far more than “expected?” [See bond collapse, repudiation, dollar collapse, increased energy exports, etc.).
