If this does take place, it looks like 3rd party will be the only way.

Too bad—thanks to you, Mitch.

Limelight-loving Eric Cantor Cantor, his consultant Ray Allen, and his Young Guns PAC, have conspired to "get conservatives"......becoming involved in local GOP politics to remove the right of conservatives to attend and vote in upcoming Republican conventions – a practice known as slating.

Cantor is also connected to the malodorous Main Street PAC. Steve LaTourette, a former Congreessman established his credentials as a "moderate"---and is now gainfully employed as a Main Street PAC lobbyist.

LaTourette has contracted the disease of duhversity, for which there is no known cure. He has stated that his goal is to "take out the Tea Party" and so-called "far-right Conservatives." His PAC has received donations from unions, Soros connected money, and even (ugh) Democrats.

The Republican Party takes the conservative base for granted. No matter how viciously we're attacked by the Gopes for voicing our conservatism principles and for our commitment to the Constitution and traditional American values, the Gope leadership calculates that they have our vote anyway. And our voting history since Ronald Reagan supports that ... that we'll end up voting for any Republican over any Democrat-Socialist candidate.

I used to be that way ... and argued passionately on this board that we needed to cast our vote even for RINOs and Democrat-Socialist wannabes to stop the enemies of liberty from destroying our republic.

No more.

From the history of the past 25 years it's clear that this strategy is not working. That while our Constitution is being dismantled by the Democrat-Socialists the Republicans and Gopes -- with few notable exceptions -- defend the Constitution only when it's convenient or not too difficult to do so.

So, rather than voting for a third party or selectively not voting at all if the choice is between a Democrat-Socialist and a RINO/Gope -- both ineffective tactics -- I am considering that it would be better in the long run to vote for the Democrat-Socialist ... figuring that if America's decline accelerates more rapidly (which it will most certainly do under Democrat Party socialism), perhaps then the low-information voters and -- more importantly -- the people who are so busy earning money to pay America's bills (we taxpayers) that they don't have time to pay much attention to politics unless those policies affect them directly will finally notice America's accelerating decline and do something about it.

A risky venture for sure ... but continuing to vote for RINOs and Gopes with the hope they will stand up to the Democrat-Socialist Left sure isn't working!
