Your words offer good advice to us all. Don’t forget about compassion and mercy. Or as some have said; Check Yourself, Before You Wreck Yourself.

I saw him on Monday Night Raw the other night. He looked fine. I’m guessing it was a massive heart attack. R.I.P. Ultimate Warrior.

I swore off wrestling years ago. Until they get instant-replay involved, you just can’t trust it...

Every interview I saw looked like he was on pain meds. He had that look.

....Is wrestling real or not?

Here’s a hint. It’s shown on the SyFy channel.

So sad! Another little part that connects us the awesome 80’s is gone. :(

Even though it is more entertainment than sport, those slams on the mat are still quite real.

Oh for the olden days of “wrestling” with Gorgeous George, The Great BOLO, and Killer Brooks. They knew how to entertain!

Of course I would not write that to the family. I was commenting on that obviously crummy form of entertainment and the dumb people that love it.

I should have said Iam sorry that this man died so early...I am. But it is true what I wrote about that crappy profession that helped to kill him early. A phoney sport that hurts pweople...not comparable to movies and such, where we have moral situations that match real life...rather than two brute bating up each other. Ridiculous and unbecoming of any conservative.

I saw him on RAW on Monday night and he didn’t seem well. His son played LB for the Buckeyes and now plays for the Rams.

Correction the Ultimate Warrior had 2 daughters. It was the Road Warrior whose son played for the Buckeyes.

That’s a good story. I have a friend who claimed he worked on the Road Warriors’ House. One of them I believe passed away as well but I know who they were.

Oh brother! LOL.

So tell us, what form of entertainment (intened for kids, BTW) becomes a conservative most?

All sorts of entertainment...not porn, fake wrestling...just two men simulating beating the crap out of each other. Ask yourself, what is it about people that enjoys seeing that and a car wreck with people injured? It is their dark side!

That "crappy profession" has had a partnership with Make-A-Wish since the early 80s. This past Wrestlemania they flew in 31 Make-A-Wish kids to have meet and greets with their favorite Superstars and had the kids ringside at the event. WWE Superstar John Cena has granted over 400 Wishes BY HIMSELF. That "crappy profession" also has partnerships with Susan G Komen AND Special Olympics. That "crappy profession" regularly visits military bases and hospitals around the world and has produced a show called "Tribute to the Troops" since 2002, where they have performed before troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the United States. That "crappy profession" offers all military personnel free tickets to all US live events.

I could go on, but please, do feel free to go on complaining about a "crappy profession" you clearly know nothing about.

Yeah, their partnership with Komen just started a year or so ago. Not one I particularly agree with, but as a wrestling fan I take issue with someone calling it a “crappy profession” without listing all of the other good works that they do outside of the ring (i.e. Make A Wish, their work with the troops, etc)

Those things of generosity are obviously good done by any progression. But that does not mean that the actual value of that type of entertainment has a good value. What you did was not address my valid point of people enjoying two men simulate beating the tat out of each other as that feeding their darksides...by pointing out the good that they do aside from that actual type of entertainment. Sorry..you have to have a bit wrong with you to enjoy that type of entertainment. I don’t judge people for that, but tbd facts are the facts. We are living in a very angry society, and fake wrestling, mma,..etc...just feeds right into that.
