What is really sad is that the incomes for most of the jobs are less than what one can “earn” on welfare once all the welfare, food-stamp, subsidized housing, etc is factored in.

Being very closely tied to a top notch college I knew the answer easy.

Nursing or anything medical related really.
Accountants

People with these degrees get recruited HARD and nearly always have jobs waiting for them before they have even graduated.

Instead of going to a four-year college, I went to a Technical School that had a 98% placement rate. When I was halfway through the course, I went to a school-sponsored job fair and was hired for a full-time job at $30,000 a year. This was back in 1985 when $30K was good money for a first job. I had to change to night school to finish my certificate.

Things really haven't changed much today. I am a hiring manager these days and I pull most of my new hires out of technical schools. I've hired some with college degrees but they tend to have high expectations for salary (have to pay off those loans) and don't expect to get their hands dirty because they have degrees, don't you know.

Nursing schools are the same. I think they have a placement rate in the high 90s for their graduates. Nothing to be ashamed about being a nurse. Even if you are a male. It's a good career that pays very well.

It seems to me there is a 'big picture' plan afoot, possibly directed by an extraterrestrial force to herd us all into groups, perhaps to be used as slaves or even as a food source for said aliens. Not joking.

This is Agenda 21. Everywhere you look Agenda 21 grows legs. No one can tell me there isn't some sort of extraterrestrial force directing all of this. What society builds a GIANT health care gestapo for peaceful purposes?

Raise the import tariffs and put Americans back to work.

Demographics are going to continue to drive more people towards healthcare jobs. But we are not going to be able to afford healthcare jobs without some industry to produce wealth. We are dissaving to afford healthcare.

Healthcare doesn’t produce anything and is a drain on wealth. Healthcare can protect our most important wealth producing assets, people. But those people need jobs to produce wealth.

Anybody watching the pattern? Good-paying manufacturing and production jobs are evaporating - thanks to union wage inflation, overseas workshops, and robotics. So what will Americans of average or below-average intelligence (remember that for every person with an IQ above 100, there's another one below 100) do for a living in the future?

The answer appears to be "work as a servant doing unpleasant stuff for somebody else". Higher education is dandy if you have the smarts to do something with it and have an area of study that is actually needed today. We are evolving to a society where the less-blessed are either relegated to emptying bedpans or just receiving a government check to keep them from rioting. And the unspoken truth is that illegal immigrants can do all those menial jobs for much less already.

Since a larger percentage of our young people born today have also greater chances of being on the autism spectrum for no explicable reason, what exactly does our future appear to be? Is anybody doing anything about this?

It won’t matter before long. The medical racket is also government-linked in several ways. The overspending can’t go on forever. Even moderate spending is only truly supported by a large manufacturing base.

If you extrapolate the population growth based on the number of babies that were murdered in the abortion holocaust, the fastest growing careers would most likely be something other than caring for an aging, elderly population.

these are jobs in and around fedgov healthcare.

how’s that ‘change’ working out for you?

if you’ve had enough, make sure to let every libtard you run into know how ‘thankful’ you are for their ‘enlightened’ votes that have screwed your life.

keying any car with an 0bama or other libtard sticker would help leave such a message

I give the best advice in the world whenever a kid asks me what he/she should study. It's what I told both of my kids who have promising careers ahead of them - one in PWC, the other in IT.

My advice is sound.
Thus...

The day you finish school is a proud day. On that day you are a graduate.
The next day, you are something else: UNEMPLOYED.

Prepare for THAT day.

What should you be doing that day?
Looking for a job, so go to Monster.com, Indeed.com, Jobserve.com and research the job ads.
Find a job that you think you will like, but most important, pick something where there are a lot of jobs and they all pay well.

Also, make sure that the field will still be there in 4-5 years when you graduate.

Remember kids:

The day after you graduate, you are unemployed - prepare for that day.

Last year US trade to China: 122 billion dollars.

Last year Chinese trade to America: 440 billion.

America has been sold out, by our very own businesses.

Buy American.
