A revolt among Mozilla staffers, compounded by pressure from software developers, outrage on Twitter and a boycott movement spearheaded by OkCupid, has driven Eich out. Baker, having accepted Eichs resignation, offers this apology: We know why people are hurt and angry, and they are right: its because we havent stayed true to ourselves.
Some of my colleagues are celebrating. They call Eich a bigot who got what he deserved. I agree. But lets not stop here. If were serious about enforcing the new standard, thousands of other employees who donated to the same anti-gay ballot measure must be punished.

A revolt among Mozilla staffers
I think that has a lot more to do with what happened than the OK Cupid business or the garbage on Twitter.
Purge the bigots - get rid of gays. Works both ways.
This will come to blood in the streets if they refuse peaceful separation.
Wow, I thought this must be satire but links like this evil troll is serious.
The problem is that we are letting the deviants define us as bigots if we don’t actively endorse and promote their DEVIANT behavior.
Wow, just wow!! The leftists have “progressed” to the point where they are OPENLY becoming Stalinists.
I have no words for this beyond we had best make sure ALL Americans understand the agendas of the leftists. For many of said leftists/progressives, if they had the opportunity, opening of the camps and gas chambers would be a final fulfillment of their long held, but dormant, dream.
You realize that this article is satire? He is saying that if you are going to call for Eich to be fired, call for all the others who donated as well or shut up.
The Intolerantly Tolerant haven’t figured that out, yet.
Stalin had purges, too.
I read the full article.
I saw no indication it was satire.
They are like sharks smelling blood in the water.
The picture at the top of the article is interesting. The man waving the middle finger and appearing to be screaming at the Mormons is a self-proclaimed victim of hate. He looks pretty hateful to me. Perhaps he’s mentally ill or just upset that he can’t properly spell a simple four-letter word.
I disagree. Those who forced Eich out are bigots who got what they wanted. Who are they to say who does and does not get what they deserve?
Eich should have had the courage of his convictions and told them all to go pound sand. They had no real power over him anyway.
If he’s counting on his readers checking their Twitter accounts to see it’s satire, his judgment is exceedingly bad.
Some of us don’t waste our time on Twitter.
I saw the end of the article as a “call to action”.
Satire or not, I think it’s likely that most of the people who insisted that Eich be fired would also love to see every supporter of traditional marriage fired also—and perhaps even killed. They are the new jihadists.
Today the purges.
Tomorrow the pogroms.

from Slate. Thanks Salman.
Actually hard to tell. Saletan has (not always, but sometimes) ranted and raved in extreme ways on sexuality issues; and this could be taken as satire by normal people, but a to-do list for Slate readers.
But why stop there? More...

I don’t think it is satire. I think it is more a call to arms as his statement below indicates.
[If were serious about taking down corporate officers who supported Proposition 8, and boycotting employers who promote them, we’d better get cracking on the rest of the list. Otherwise, perhaps we should put down the pitchforks.]
