"Some of my colleagues are celebrating. They call Eich a bigot who got what he deserved. I agree. But let’s not stop here. If we’re serious about enforcing the new standard, thousands of other employees who donated to the same anti-gay ballot measure must be punished."

Keep goose stepping you scummy little brown shirt. Eventually you will get exactly what you so richly deserve.

Just recall history where Hitler surrounded himself with homosexuals during his rise to power. Once he became Chancellor for Life, he systematically had each one of these homosexuals eliminated!

“The problem is that we are letting the deviants define us as bigots if we don’t actively endorse and promote their DEVIANT behavior.”

So true. But by them using the word ‘bigot’ to describe their opposition while at the same time, KNOWING THEMSELVES what they do IS deviant, is more of a problem than, our inaction. Let’s take a look at the word “bigot”....taken from dictionary.com

big·ot
[big-uht]
noun
a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion.

Word Origin & History

bigot
1590s, from Fr. bigot (12c.), in O.Fr. “sanctimonious;” supposedly a derogatory name for Normans, the old theory (not universally accepted) being that it springs from their frequent use of O.E. oath bi God. Plausible, since the Eng. were known as goddamns in Joan of Arc’s France, and during World War I Americans serving in France were said to be known as les sommobiches (see also son of a bitch). But the earliest French use of the word (12c.) is as the name of a people apparently in southern Gaul (which led to the now-doubtful, on phonetic grounds, theory that the word comes from Visigoth).

Sp. bigote “mustache” also has been proposed as a source, though the sense is not adequately explained. The earliest English sense is of “religious hypocrite,” especially a female one, and may have been influenced by beguine. Sense extended 1680s to other than religious opinions.

haha...now....what can we conclude from such a label?

Apologies to any that are offended... But I personally would take, line up and shoot all of the queers. I am so sick of them and their “movement”.

You do get that he wasnt really encouraging people to eat their children, right?

The only thing that messes up this particular piece of satire is that the writer felt compelled to put that “put down the pitchforks” line in at the end to make it blatantly obvious that he was writing satirically. And even with THAT some people still didn’t get it.

Full final paragraph:

“If we’re serious about taking down corporate officers who supported Proposition 8, and boycotting employers who promote them, we’d better get cracking on the rest of the list. Otherwise, perhaps we should put down the pitchforks.”

“Call to action”.

I signed the petition to put a marriage amendment on the ballot in MA and a group calling itself Knowthyneighbor.org put all our info on their web-site so we could be harassed. I wrote a column about it in the Malden Observer and put the names of the two guys behind it and their business address in the column. They called the editor screaming about their info being made public. He laughed at them.
