Genesis 6 to be precise—

the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. 3 Then the Lord said, “My Spirit will not contend with[a] humans forever, for they are mortal[b]; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.”

4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

Remember, Jesus said the end times would be like the times before Noah, so this will repeat itself. Which is why in Daniel 2:43 we read:

And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

If they are not of the seed of men, then what are they? Not men.

And of course the commentary in Isaiah 53 about how He was marred. That would be especially true while still on the cross. Still, it would seem notable that Mary didn’t exactly react as though she had seen a horror. She doesn’t flee; she asks a question.

There's a guy bouncing around the “Noah” threads pasting a rave review of the movie and arguing with anyone who criticizes it. I'm surprised he hasn't gotten here yet.

Went today since we supplied all the logs for the ark. Terrible story and really dark, left after 45 mins. The ark was amazing, too bad they had to throw in the evolution video. No matter how they try to spin it, the ark represented God’s mercy.

Saw God’s not dead before it, what a great story.

Pray America wakes up

Making money off the word of God and the creators can’t even tell the truth.

This is what ‘taking my name in vain’ refers to, profiting personally or professionally by hypocritically using God, not using swear words.

Interesting and clear way of putting it. Really hits home.

And I get an entrance because of why? Nothing I did. Because in reality, those wounds that He has, that He bears, are because of me. And yet, I get in. Leaves me deeply touched and speechless.

The real story on Noah’s box office performance won’t be told till next weekend. Church groups goosed box office Friday night, but the exit tracking says they hated the movie. Bad word of mouth for a film like this is deadly.

And New York and Los Angeles aren’t going. Yeah, yeah, you hate those cities, but they are the biggest population centers in the country. You can’t have a hit movie without them.

I think everyone who’s going to see the film will have seen it by Sunday. The long run verdict will be decent opening, no legs, and the movie goes into the red ink column.

Next weekend "Noah" will not only have to deal with deadly word-of-mouth

The opposite will be true.

People will flock to the theaters just to see first-hand what all the fuss is about.

It's like how people slow down to take a better look at an accident on the road.

Thanks for the tip.

I laughed at Royal Tenenbaums. I like Hackman, Murray and equally despise Stiller, Wilson and Glover....so it all balances out. I have *big-time* cabin fever so cut me some slack. Haven’t been to a movie in years.:)

Um, no. It's actually about taking rash oaths... think King Saul.

The fact that Abe Foxman of the ADL was singing his racist-liberal-anti-Christian praise for Noah was all I needed to know.

It was obvious from the get-go that this film would be a radical misinterpretation meant to spread leftist misinformation while raking in a few dollars for anti-Christian bigots in Hollyweird.

Stiller is ok. I know his wife from high school (Christine Taylor)….she was a snob so I am sure she is ruling the roost at their home….lol.

Genesis 6:1–4, immediately before the story of Noah's ark:

Now it came about, when men began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose.

Then the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; nevertheless his days shall be one hundred and twenty years." The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.

I am fully aware of the scripture I just don’t believe it says what you claim it says. I do not believe ‘sons of God’ refers to fallen angels. If you’d like to discuss it further in private I’d be glad to share my reasons

The idiotic leftists in Hollywood, should the film bomb at the box office, will decide the answer is America doesn’t want “religious” films.
