Sometimes I think having school uniforms isn’t such a bad idea.
I went to a school one year that required uniforms. I really liked mine. Sure made things easy on Mom for shopping!
Author Mom seems to be oblivious to the difference between girls and boys and butts and ears with piercings. But so has the culture in general.
Standardized school clothing is a good idea. It also saves money for the parents ... :-) ...
No it's a GREAT IDEA. I went to parochial grade school K through 8 where uniforms were worn by all and parochial HS where jacket tie non jean pants were required. The girl HS (separated by a 12 foot block wall had similar but feminine dress codes.
There was never any clothing distractions and education was the #1 requirement.
School uniforms are by far the best idea.
Better still...make a schooling commercial or private. Let them make their own rules and tell the government to get lost.
