Merkel backs call for EU school lessons to counter ‘growing Euro-skepticism’

School students should be given a “European Union education” in the classroom to tackle “ignorance” and growing public Euro-skepticism, according to an election manifesto signed by Angela Merkel and eight other of Europe's leaders.

The European People’s Party (EPP), the EU’s biggest political grouping, is convinced such a program would improve the public image of Brussels, which has never been lower. Its manifesto for May’s European elections calls for the introduction of “EU education in schools across Europe in order to prepare the next generation for future challenges and to nurture a European approach”. […]

Rather than scaling back the EU, the EPP will campaign around a five-year program that will aim to transform the EU into “a genuine political union”. …

Indoctrination centers of the EU for the EU by the EU. A common-core is needed for groupthink.

Re-label (or medicate) malcontents as terrorists if they say FU to EU. You’re-a-peon Union BUMP!

(we’re all pawns on the totalitarian chessboard)

Enemies foreign and domestic ALERT! The Merkel and Urkel show.

I asked, “Well what is going to happen to those people we can’t reeducate, that are diehard capitalists?” And the reply was that they’d have to be eliminated.

And when I pursued this further, they estimated they would have to eliminate 25 million people in these reeducation centers.

And when I say “eliminate,” I mean “kill.”

Is not clear from the article whether this multinational leaders' "manifesto" intends to impose this by force of law on European Union schools. Probably it is not necessary because the force of political correctness is clearly behind the European Union.

This "manifesto" should be considered in the context of the recent case in Germany forbidding parents from homeschooling their children for religious reasons.

This manifesto should also be considered in the larger international context of how the left thinks. Like the Armed Forces, the left regards the school system as a giant Skinner Box in which it's subjects should be placed, conditioned with the right stimuli and shaped into a faithful subjects of the collective.

claiming ignorance as anothers excuse for not agreeing is the highest form of elitism. We see and hear it all the time from liberals. It cuts off debate when one has no debate.

First a minor change in capitalization:

dEUtschland, dEUtschland über alles
Über alles in der Welt

The eliminate the obsolete letters:

EU, EU über alles
Über alles in der Welt,

Take a look at how “directives” work in the EU and that’ll answer a lot. Anything that says “opt out” on it will mean you get forced in later. Those laws called “regulations” are incumbent upon everyone to obey or else (the “or else” being mostly financial/economical right now, so you can imagine what would follow if the EUSSR ever got itself a military).

Things will turn nationalistic eventually. Germans aren’t going to stand being forced to become “Europäisch” . . .

For the transnationalists and eurocrats the solution to euroscepticism is propaganda, indoctrination, and silencing.
Merkel learned the wrong lessons from the East German regime
