“If I’m given the opportunity to lead the United States Senate next year, I won’t let you down”

This quote ranks up there with:

“If you like your health plan you can keep it.”

“If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor.”

“Every family will save $2500 per year on healthcare.”

“We will secure the border.”

“There will be peace in our time.”

“Islam is the religion of peace.”

“Happy days are here again.”

George W. Bush on Putin “I looked the man in the eye. I found him to be very straight forward and trustworthy . . . . I was able to get a sense of his soul.”

Here’s my response to Mitch:

“Sorry Mitch, it is election year again and once again you’ve got a bridge to sell. This time we aren’t buying.”

“If I’m given the opportunity to lead the United States Senate next year, I won’t let you down.”

Hmmm...

That sounds like:

“If you like your insurance you can keep it.”

Or this:

“I did not have sexual relations with that woman.”

Then there was this, from an Austrian socialist with a funny little mustache:

“Now all the territorial differences between France and Germany are settled.”

If TX Republican voters can buy Cornball again, why can’t the rest of the Republican voters fall on their sword once more for McC?

Mitch has failed us over and over on crucial issues. No to him; no to Boehner; no to anyone who politicizes issues of law.

He won’t because he won’t be in the Senate. If he’s renominated, Alison Grimes wins that seat.

Win with Bevin!
