IF I would ever be called into the IRS, I would plead the fifth to my dying day. Problem is, the average law-abiding citizen in this country would never put themselves in a situation to plead the fifth. We obey the law, unlike the government.

You (and every other American tax payer) give up your 5th amendment right every time you submit a U.S. tax return signed under penalty of perjury.

None more cynical than me!! Lois Lerner invoking the fifth only puts her more in a position of a dead woman walking. (Fuddy, Brown, Foster, ect..........) Issa, bonehead and company must be celebrating her refusal to talk, they can at least for now enjoy less public scrutiny of their own failures in this IRS criminal matter.
