If a contempt vote has the same impact as it did for Attorney Degenerate Holder this is wasted effort.
Where has the Holder contempt vote gone? No where.
At a minimum, Lois Lerner should have her paid vacation suspended, and be summarily dismissed and banned, from Federal Government employment forever. Yeah, right.
Cheerio, old boy, the House of representatives will perform at a different speed if we can keep our mouths shut until after we beat the Democrats in the Senate. Otherwise we will continue to spin our wheels for the rest of Obama’s term.

IIRC, North was arrested by the DOJ, not by some Congressional authority.
One should not expect the same kind of cooperation from Obama's DOJ with a Republican House Committee.

They seem to forget that the defining characteristic of an opposition party is that they oppose to the goals and platform of the party in power. The GOP has failed at this fundamental thing, they offer no opposition in any real tangible sense. Obama wants more debt? "whine whine whine" then APPROVE. Obama wants his nomiees? "whine whine whine" then "oh well, what can we do? APPROVE!". Obama wants to act lawlessly? "whine whine whine" but no hearings held, no special prosecutors appointed. Obama wants to ruin health care? "whine whine whine" but then try to kill Ted Cruz for actually fighting to do something about it and now change the rhetoric to making it affordable (i.e. keeping it).
They are like a vestigial organ, an appendix which does nothing useful but can still cause harm. Well it's ruptured and poisoning the body of our nation with inaction and "me too!" I say remove it and be done with it.

It isn’t going to happen. The GOP doesn’t have the stomach or guts to fight.
There are more than that . . . I’d definitely add Sen. Jeff Sessions to the list. But the point is that they are too few as a percentage of the total GOP.
