Over a one-year period, five children in California developed a polio-like illness that caused severe weakness or paralysis in their arms and legs, a new case study reports.
In two of the children, their symptoms have now been linked with an extremely rare virus called enterovirus-68.
Like the poliovirus, which has been eradicated in the U.S. since 1979 thanks to the polio vaccine, strains of enterovirus in rare cases can invade and injure the spine.
These are the first reported cases of polio-like symptoms being caused by enterovirus in the United States. During the last decade, outbreaks of polio-like symptoms have been reported in children in Asia and Australia, and these infections have been associated with newly identified strains of enterovirus.
"We think one reason why these cases may have occurred in California is that we are at the western-most part of the United States, so we may have had a higher circulation of the virus that was originally identified in Asia," said Dr. Emmanuelle Waubant, co-author of the case report and a neurologist at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center. Although two of the children tested positive for enterovirus-68, the researchers were not able to identify the cause of muscle weakness and paralysis in the other three children.
The researchers saw these children too late in the game to detect the actual virus, Waubant explained. "It could have been enterovirus, or it may have been another virus," she told Live Science.,,

The problem with GMO crops is not the seeds, it is the patent on the seeds. Those Monsanto seeds blow into an adjacent farmer’s field, then next year Monsanto goes after them.
If you study this issue you will not find GMO something you should support. Talk to some of the small farmers about what has happened to them.

Even the pollen from those seeds, which can spread for miles, is enough for Monsanto to come after you.

Ocean is more likely, the virus is typically seen in Asia and Australia. I’m assuming you actually meant border, naturally. If you really are talking about renters then my response would be a bit of a non sequitur.

To give physicals and run tests, besides making sure EVERYONE was registered, where they were going, where they were going to live, who sponsored them, where were they going to work, making sure they would NOT be a drain on the economy?
Today ‘they’ not only allow Homos in, if they have AIDS they are also welcome because there ‘lives’ may be in danger in their homeland.
Other governments would be ‘smart’ to ban people for a number of ‘expensive’ diseases, these clowns we have in charge will just welcome them here with open arms.

There’s a lot of missing information in what has been released.
Did any of the children get vaccinated before these symptoms? Where they around children who had received the oral polio vaccination?
Were they all vaccinated?
I’m gonna shill for Monsanto here. They don’t sue due to drifting pollen. Only farmers who demonstrably violate their signed contract and deliberately violate the patent by saving seed.
Monsanto is not the only company with seed or plant patents, nor the only one to go after farmers who violate their seed contracts.

There are over 20 kids, and the two families I have seen come forward are Caucasian.
I know a 10 year old who was stricken with muscle weakness as a toddler. Massive amounts of physical therapy brought his physical functioning up to near normal. I wonder if he had this, or something like it. As far as I know, its cause was never diagnosed.
I wouldn't blame vaccines per se but I might suspect the effect vaccination would have on the immune system of a person whose immunity was already weak, or of excessive vaccination within a given time period.

I’ve been following the GMO sturm and drang since the internet was invented and have yet to find any claims that weren’t completely overblown, overhyped, turned on their heads or completely fabricated.
Why don’t you find the court records for any lawsuit brought by Monsanto that is based on pollen drift and not deliberate saving and planting of seed. You won’t find one.
So if the Monsanto critics are wrong (or lying) about that, then what else are they wrong about and why should I trust their statements?
That’s the real reason IMO. Illegals bringing in heretofore eradicated diseases. When you don’t medically scan immigrants, this is what happens.
There are many, many other diseases like this brought in along with those unfortunate, huddled masses yearning to do the jobs that Americans won’t do./s
