This is from a pdf file put out by Brewer.

I doubt this will halt the debate....religious liberties are under assault, and no one in the government seems to give a damn.

And by the way, has Sarah Palin or Ted Cruz said anything on this issue? Doesn't Sarah own property down in Arizona?

When the “discrimination” and “respect” memes made their appearance, I knew she went to the dark side.

She sounds exactly like a liberal. What is wrong, Arizona? Why do you insist on electing Republican scumbags to seemingly every office from governor to senator? Why not just go full New Mexico and vote DemoRat because Brewer is as good as one.

Enjoy your thirty pieces of silver, Jan. I won’t spend a dime in your state so long as I live.

Ted Cruz….the first thing he did right was not get involved in another state’s business. I think it is ridiculous that other people outside Arizona got mixed up in this. This was a state’s right and because of nosey bodies, it turned national. Had it not turned national, she would not have vetoed the bill. I thank Sarah and Ted for doing the right thing. Ted for a change kept another state’s business to himself. States right are not supposed to be easy otherwise the founders never would have fought for them. Jan Brewer made the wrong decision but it was because of busybodies she was caught in a stupid media storm. I blame everyone outside of Arizona for this tragedy.

The problem, Governor, is respect and understanding only go one way these days. The left will continue to go after religious people and cost them big time with lawsuits and closed businesses.

Sorry Jan, you lose.

Just because a case hasn’t come up yet doesn’t preclude the legislature from taking action to shield business from frivolous lawsuits.

How much did the NFL put in that envelope, eh Jan?

Used to think Gov. Brewer had some courage. Wrong.

How about you blame Jan Brewer for being as weak as the two Arizona senators, and the turncoat GOPs in the legislature?

Another day, another Republican caving in. I hope Governor Brewer understands that the left still hates her. Now, a lot of her supporters do, too.

She is finished. She lacked male testosterone. What a quivering spineless ganglia. Now she has NO support from anywhere.

POPPYCOCK, Gov. Brewer!

You had no problem, whatsoever, with DISCRIMINATING AGAINST CHRISTIANS and the 1st Amendment as it involves religious liberties.

Bottom line, she took the advice of lawyers, not her constituency.

P>I could handle a veto with a strong position that the current law protects individual religious rights. She went full leftie. Not surprised. The nation is circling the drain and most politicians are ignoring it so they don't have to look 'unpopular'.

Well she is not a Saint, but I always thought she was human. I keep wondering when we are going to stop putting these politicians on pedestals. The Governor Brewer cheerleading because she gave it to President Obama on the tarmac a while back was gross. Now I guess she is the new villain that was a hero. It has happened many time when I warned people to stop making conservative politicians these perfect unsustainable robots. One day I am going to be listened too.

What ever happened to the “We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone” thing????

That precept, in existence since the dawn of time, went out the window when Lyndon Johnson signed into law broad sweeping legislation in 1964.

What is so astonishing about this debacle is that proponents of this law let the opposition get out in front to label and define it first.
They should have come out with a press conference to explain that the law is designed to prevent the atrocities being committed against Christians in other states.
I think we need some pretend gays to try to force a Muslim bakery to make their wedding cake.
The SCOTUS should take the next baker, florist, photographer, etc. case that comes up so they can make clear that the First Amendment trumps anti discrimination laws or policies.
