So the mediocre congressman with personal financial troubles didn't turn out to be a fantastic governor. Who would have thunk it?
The reality is that government doesn’t deal with non-routine things well. They’re good at extracting every last dime of “revenue” from the citizens, and they’re equally adept at squandering said revenue, but as far as doing things that actually help anyone except their beloved parasite class, they don’t know how.
