And liberals rejoice. Perhaps "seasonal tidings" is a better phrase than "Merry Christmas" in their minds.

Count me in the 54%

46% of Americans are turning into heathens and they wonder why God has turned against us. Well, they don’t wonder, because they don’t believe.

You wonder how many of these will receive food baskets from a local Church this year and then not even attend a service.

Every bureaucrat, government shill, media saboteur and liberal ‘noncombatant’ in this country tirelessly works to eradicate Christian religion from this country’s lexicon.

They, instead, espouse the religion of diversity and Islam. It is Allah’s divine will.

PBS?

Heck, those idiots probably believe in glow-bull “warming” too.

Pathetic what a marshmallow degree leads to.

The good news is only 30% of Amricans think PBS news is fair and unbiased.

A few days ago, I was in a mall in New Jersey (I know, be careful). There was an absolutely adorable family waiting for a shuttle bus (as was I). The youngest of the group struggled to lift a heavy bag onto the bus, so I offered to assist. The child said "Thank you" and another member of the family wished us a "Happy Christmas." Turned out they were from Sweden. Meanwhile, I heard ninja (if you know what I mean) said at least ten times in the mall and even had the pleasure of one guy singing a rap song out loud with ninja shouted three times in one sentence. Fun times. And yes, I heard our favorite Mariah Carey song that day, too. :-)

only half of Americans see Christmas as religious
This is on a a PBS website and we're supposed to believe it?
I surfed onto a PBS show last night - NOVA (Extreme Ice), that was produced in 2009 and had to do with melting glaciers.
One hour of absolute, total, globull-warming propaganda BS. As bad or worse than the "disappearing" polar bear horsecrap.
It was soooo bad, I found myself laughing out loud.

.....Yet come Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, the churches GET PACKED BIGTIME. People HUNGER for what is timely and true.

Let the liberals rejoice; it's all they have.
I know, however, that the time will come in their lives, near the end of it, when they get scared, just plain scared. There will be nothing to hold on to.

I read that Johnny Carson, though a VERY funny man publicly, was a MOST unhappy man personally. He believed in NOTHING. What a miserable existence...and a sad one.

I saw a PBS show recently with wolves and bears in Alberta, Canada. I enjoy wildlife shows. Then, out of nowhere, a petroleum production facility was shown accompanied by ominous music. Interpret: Damn humans.

Of course they will. We Catholics call those Catholics the C&E Catholics--they come to Mass on Christmas and Easter.

I've always heard (on Catholic radio) that how the father goes in a family, church going or not, for example, is how the family does. Doesn't MATTER what the mother does, it's the father who leads by example. I think it's true.

We are a nation of TOO MANY divorced people, with WAY TOO MANY fatherless children. Therein lies the problem, I believe.

As the saying goes, in the “foxholes, there are NO atheists!”

When the time comes, towards the ends, the liberals do begin to sing a different song.

Amen to that.

On the positive side, it is why most Americans see these attacks on Christians by Atheists and Christmas displays or crosses as attacks on Christians.

BINGO! We have a WINNER.

Yet, we who are Catholic know all the C & E, A & P Catholics, or those Catholics who go to church only during the major holy days or for weddings or funerals.

It has to be the parent who leads by example.

Saw a recent story on Mark Wahlberg. He goes to Mass daily, and sometimes twice on Sunday (once at an early Mass, then later with the wife and kids).

This was on Yahoo, and I was kind of shocked. Not by him going to Mass, but by them actually spotlighting it.
