On Sept. 5 Test of Obamacare's Website, CMS Staffers 'Secretly Rooted For It To Fail'

So the obvious question has been: if the administration knew the website wasn't ready, why did they roll it out anyway? An explosive new report confirms that the decision was political. Some staffers were so desperate to persuade the President to change course that, during a September 5 demonstration of the healthcare.gov website, they "secretly rooted for it to fail so that perhaps the White House would wait to open the exchange until it was ready."

The White House even refused to share key information with Democratic allies in Congress. Key Congressional leaders were only notified a half-hour before the public was that President Obama was to delay the law's employer mandate by one year.

We keep making the mistake of thinking that the Democrats want to be good at governing. They could care less. The purpose of the Democrat party is to elect thieves to office so that they will have access to public treasuries in order to loot them.

If you like your “one man one vote”, you will be able to keep your “one man one vote”. Period.

If you like your franchise, you will be able to keep your franchise. Period.

No one will take them away. No matter what.

All project decisions are ultimately political. The difference between public and private is how those responsible are held accountable. In the words of an old comedy album, “... those who are to blame lose their jobs, those who are responsible do not.”

It is supposed to fail. Zero and his fellow communists cannot get the people to accept communism as the answer until the entire American system has crashed.

LOL - many probably actually have a little self-pride in doing a good job and detest it when someone interferes with the process to insure failure. I've had similar arguments with "leadership" about how some of their decisions mandate an inferior product and have rooted for the worst case scenario after they've told me to shut up and color.

Cover-yer-butt propaganda for the web developers, who were hired to fix the same mess they made in the first place. Just “innocent babies.”

AHA!!

So there WAS testing! They DID know ahead of time!

Notice how the story is changing - originally it was “we had no warning, we didn’t know”, blah blah blah ....

I can just see Obama pushing ahead anyway over his staff’s objections, saying “any delay would be a surrender to those evil racist Republicans” .... bwaahahaha!

This is exactly what happens when an unqualified, untested idiot gets put in charge .... Rudy Guiliani warned America at the convention in 08, and was ignored ....

O lied, now people will die from a disruption in their healthcare insurance coverage. The congress and senate will be held responsible as well. Mark my words...

The real question is if the government is so incompetent it cannot even get the health care web site to work how will if be able to administer these health care exchanges? Imagine being battered and bloody from a car accident and as the paramedics wheel you into the ER at the local trauma center you are first seen not buy a doctor but a clerk who informs you that she cannot find your Obamacare plan on her computer or worse still that your plan is not valid at the trauma center and you must be seen at another hospital miles away.

CodeToad :" It is supposed to fail.

until the entire American system has crashed."

The healthcare industry represents 1/6 of the American economy.
Any surprize that the Democrats were lied by Piglousey to in order to pass it ?
Any surprize that the American public are still being lied to by the Liar-in-Chief ?
Any surprize that lousey and lazy legislators produce lousey legislation ?
The Democrats used " Herd Mentality " to pass it; Piglousey was the herd wrangler.
Piglousey personally vetted Obama , and personally vetted the " Bait and Switch " healthCrap program .
Healthcare should no longer be called ObamaCare, since the name will be irrelevant in three years for elections .
It should be called : DEMOCRATCARE
They own it .., and it should have their name on it !

Yeah, unfortunately as you suggest, we are just looking at the insurance part of this turd. Wait till the whole thing kicks into high gear. The fallout will be immense.

Today I read in the paper that one state’s dems are proposing that doctors be FORCED to accept medicare and medicade patients and their approved payment schedules. WOW. To me that means next up, no one will be allowed to pay for their own precedures out of pocket.

I used to laugh at the guy who walked around Times Square with the sign which said the end is near. Frankly I think he underestimated how little time we have.

Like Jujitsu, the best way to defeat this thing is to use it’s own weight against it. No more delays, exceptions or carve outs. Let the law proceed as written and let the people (market) conclude that it’s not only a failure, but why it’s a failure and what the democrats really had hoped to accomplish with it.
