If the mother cannot work due to emphysema, then how bout watching the grandchild while at least one of the kids goes to work? And why can’t the other pregnant one work, for cryin out loud?
This is supposed to be a sob story? What a joke.
p.s., Lady .....you’d save a whole lot by skipping the fancy hair cuts and coloring. AT LEAST $44/month.
Ever notice how hard it is to get OUT of the hammock once you’re in?
Sales tax in Florida averages around 7%. The sales tax on a monthly allotment of $800 in groceries comes to $56. Since people with food stamps are not charged sales tax on groceries, the taxpayer is already losing out on $56 in taxes that these freeloaders aren’t paying. So they need to be cutting their handout by a hell of a lot more than $44.
Florida is kind of like Jamaica. If you have any yard at all and you’re hungry it’s because you’re too lazy to go outside.
She might have emphysema but the other 3 adults don’t. And at least 2 of her daughters have the ‘cardio’ capability to reproduce.
Ghetto comes across as too ethnically specific.
Moocher is a much broader term, encompassing the entire FSA, and won’t get you into trouble with the Racial Thought Police :-)
Did you mean:
Fathered by the same man basketball team no doubt.
It is not a cut it is the end of a temporary increase from Stimulus.Which oddly enough is the reason her "benefit" doesn't buy enough to feed them.
She lives with 4 other adults and none of them can work? We only got “excuses” for 2 of them. And those are single moms who got pregnant without being married first. The government if anything should be going after the fathers for child support, not after the taxpayers. The time to subsidize this irresponsible behavior is over. People need to solve their own problems. If they can’t, their suffering is necessary to present an example to the next generation that says DON’T DO THIS.
Can someone please post that tiny one?
Yeah I know. I worked for our welfare dept for quite a few yrs.
We have three adults and two kids, buy upscale food and stay under $600 / month.
I admit to coloring my hair. We don’t receive any assistance though. But we definitely aren’t wealthy. Instead of the monthly touch ups I used to get it’s anywhere from 3-6m between them now depending on finances.
I’m hardly going to participate in a Miss America contest so there’s just not the need for anything more frequent.
But having said all this, her freshly done hair color might just be from a box. Those are $11 or $12 each last I looked.
“She should tell her daughters if they are going to get knocked up, they should start charging. Better to be a paid wh*re, than a broke sl*t.”
We pay for their birth control pills; we pay for their abortions; we pay for their maternity care and their WICK benefits and (as reported this week) — Pelosi wants us to pay for their “universal” child care. We can’t help stupid any longer - it only encourages them.
A bright side to this benefits reduction is that some people might just be inspired to learn how to cook instead of buying prepared food to reheated in the oven or microwave.
They can’t grocery shop for 4 people on $800 a month?
I can buy a months worth of food for $350
$800 a month for 4 adults? JEEBUS!!! I don’t spend anywhere near that monthly on food... Probably 1/2 that. She’s not just eating rice and beans if she’s spending $200 a week on groceries. I call BULLSPIT!
I feed my kids ORGANIC food including meat and dairy for far less than that. But I shop the outside aisles of the grocery store. I’d love to see what ‘rice based’ products this woman is buying. If she’s buying boxes of Uncle Bens I can see the monthly expenditure of $800.
