Carney: Tea Party Wants Obama to 'Resign' to End Shutdown
breitbart ^ | 10/10/13 | b shapiro

Posted on 10/10/2013 2:11:22 PM PDT by bestintxas

President Obama’s meeting with certain House Republicans, Carney said, would not be a negotiation: “he’s not going to pay ransom to the Tea Party so that the government opens or the government doesn’t default.”

Carney blamed divisions among Republicans for the government shutdown, particularly blaming the Tea Party: “The President invited all members of Congress because he believes all of them shoulder the responsibilities…When it comes specifically to the House of Representatives and the House Republican conference, I think the president extended the invitation to all members because we have seen that it is a very diverse and fractious conference…a subsection of the House Republican conference has been driving decisionmaking…and that is in part why we have a shutdown.”

Carney complained that Obama had “sincerely engaged” by buying Republicans dinner. He said that “there is a subsection here that will only end the shutdown if [Obama] offers to resign.”

Resign? Resign? Heck, I want him in prison, in the cell next to Holder. Or, Sebelius. Or, Jarrett.

How'd you like to spend the rest of your life locked in a cage with Valerie Jarrett?

That would almost be justice. Almost.

If this clown was my PR agent and went out and put the words Obama and resign in the same sentence, I would twist his soft and tenders off.

It is such an obvious mistake, you wonder why they did it. I suppose he could be that stupid.

But he swears he wasn't after Boehner, just a kiss good night.

We need a ‘favorite’ shutdown moment thread.

My vote is for the guy with the push mower who wanted to clean up the World War II memorial for the vets... mowing the grass for free until the ‘park rangers’ threatened him.

You go Tea Party!

The Tea Party is doing exactly what we elected them to do! Go to Washington and hold the “old guard’s” feet to the fire. On both sides, Dems and Rhinos feeling the squeeze. Let’s vote more of them to office in 2014!

Offer ? No deal. Must be actual resignation.

But here is the rub clown, how is that any different from Obama/Reid saying if you agree to our terms, we will then talk about our terms ?

“If Prince Barry has found the pressures of the job too much for him, then resignation would certainly be the honorable thing to do, and I applaud him for it.”

During the pink line Syria drama, didn’t Obama give a speech about how tough it was being the Leader?

Did anyone hear Putin complain about being a leader?

*he’s not going to pay ransom to the Tea Party *

He wants the TEA Party and most Americans to pay ransom for an inferior much higher priced already broken down healthcare system.

More Saul Alinsky.....

From Wikipedia (which is accurate in this reference)...

During a 1996 Congressional inquiry into the "Filegate" scandal, (US Representative Tom) Lantos (D-CA) told witness Craig Livingstone that "with an infinitely more distinguished public record than yours, Admiral Boorda committed suicide when he may have committed a minor mistake." Boorda, the Chief of Naval Operations, had taken his own life after his right to wear Combat V decorations had been questioned. Lantos was criticized by some...who interpreted the remark as a suggestion that Livingstone too should kill himself.

Everyone knew exactly what Lantos meant - he was suggesting that anyone willing to rat on the Clintons and their multiple scandals should kill themselves. Lantos had a heavy Hungarian accent and Rush Limbaugh had a lot of fun mimicing Lantos' accent and quirky comment at that time. I'm surprised you don't remember it.

It was the first thing that came to my mind (including Lantos' heavy Hungarian accennt) when you posted the Obamacide comment.

Ahhh, gotcha !

That particular despicable episode had slipped into one of memory's increasingly numerous cracks, accounting for my having seemed so thick .. lol !

As vile as the Clintons were/are, those bygone days seem almost naive in comparison to the traitorous regime of this halfbreed muzi fagboy.
