“Right Boner...don’t believe him”

Well, it’s something. Like what else do we have to go with?

Big bump on that RMD!

Stop worrying about “the political impact of 2014”. Don’t you get it? Constitutional conservatives have reached the point that we aren’t voting for RINO traitors anymore who sabotage anything conservatives do. Just work to stop Obamacare BECAUSE IT’S THE RIGHT THING TO DO. It’s called principle, and I’m disgusted that the RINOs have none of it.

And it won’t affect them because they are being subsidized to the tune of about 70%. We’re paying for their Obamacare.

Another advantage of a delay until October 2014 is that it allows the different factions in the Republican Party to fight their battles in the primary season before the monstrosity is implemented. If a lot of sitting Republicans opposing the move to defund ObamaCare in the Senate, for example, are toppled during the primaries, then the House has a lot more leverage during the final weeks of the 2014 election season. But if those Senators successfully fight off primary challengers from “Tea Party” types, then there’s no reason to think the GOP grass roots has any interest in fighting ObamaCare at all.

What imbecilic entitlement law in the past has been reversed because it was a disaster? Social Security? Medicare? Food Stamps? WIC? Please, tell me why Obamacare’s crashing and burning would be any different.

If Obamacare drives out all or most private health insurance from the marketplace because they cannot compete and operate solvently, they will cease to exist, and single payor will prevail subsequent to the clamor for legislative action to ensure public HC access.

I think the key is to let the ACA die a quick death in the interim while stiff-arming incremental attempts to move toward single payor and preserving viable free market alternatives. Plainly we'll need Congress and the WH to not be controlled by leftists. And a watchful eye should be kept on such agencies as HHS and proactive steps taken as needed to neutralize them.

This is foreseeable but not easy achieved- or painless.

What I mean is, what is the better stand in your opinion.

Defund or nothing

Delay or nothing

Which is better for us?

Dues paying DNC members of course exempt from threshold limit qualification, and waived for full subsidies. NPR tote bag provised free with subsidy requests to all DNC members.

And remember folks! One vote for every dollar in subsidies in order to move our president "Forward" against the treasonous anarchists who oppose us. Yes, you may be busy, but two thousand votes can easily be done with absentee, early, provisional, dead, and pet voting.

Sure you will, you betcha, sure you will.

One year expires October 1, 2014, just a little more than a month before the next election.

Correct. My belief is this would be even more of a problem for the Rats if it were happening exactly one year from now. I think this is a good idea, I hope the Rats fall for it.

Good point.

It raises a couple of interesting thoughts. First, since House Republicans for the most part have been insulated by gerrymandering from losing their districts, it is surprising and frustrating that the house has not been more aggressive not only with respect to Obamacare but with respect to holding hearings etc.

Boehner's entire methodology in this Congress has been rope-a-dope as though he were protecting the Senators or looking ahead to a presidential election two cycles away. Politics like wars are not won on defense or by passivity.

A second interesting thought arises in that your point demonstrates how changing the venue changes the result and that implies that a convention of the states pursuant to Article V would probably have an entirely different culture than the Senate and even different from the House. There is some encouragement in the thought that an Article V convention might just have a different complexion than many of us assume.

I agree. I have to admit I am impressed with Boehner, but especially with Cruz. Actually, I am more shocked in regards to Boehner.

Michelle Bachmann was on with Greta last night. There is a huge consensus to delay it and defund it for a year....

I'll take either one, but in a way delay has advantages to. With "defund" we can't really trust Obama to not just take the funds from something else. With "delay" more and more stories will keep coming up about corruption, ineptitude, and bad results.

The point is that the 'pubs have to stop voting with Obama. And now they'll have to accept that there's a whole lot of new voices who represent us and not their cronies. RINOism is THROUGH....I don't think I'm the only person who would stay home or vote for the real dem rather than vote for a RINO who backstabs us, every chance they get.

I think Ted Cruz will go with Boehner on this; there is what you WANT, and there is what you can GET.

What exactly is delayed for a year and will Obama have the wherewithal to spend federal monies to propagandize against the Republicans for 12 months?

I think we can count on Obastard propagandizing for the next year. He's been doing it since he announced his candidacy in '07 (with our own money since 1/20/09), so why would he change? We need to twist that to our advantage somehow.

On one hand, since patriots have shown themselves to be “fire fighters” and not “fire preventers” when it comes to using their voting muscle to stop the growth of unconstitutionally big federal government, voters getting burned by the Obamacare tax may be the only way to get them off of their couches to vote the socialists out of the government.

Otherwise, the GOP needs to delay Obamacare indefinitely until the states amend the Constitution to grant Congress the specific power that it needs to regulate, tax and spend for public healthcare purposes in the first place.

I think it could help us get some conservatives in both houses as well. The Republican’s feet will be held to the fire just before and election, as well as the Democrats. A lot can happen in a year, but I think this part of the bill is fairly positive.
