I do not envy the guy. He is basically walking a tightrope over a minefield; one slip and *BOOM*, he’s condemned nationwide as an evil racist nativist and he’s screwed to the wall be the national media.

Liberals are at both ends of the rope wobbling it to try and make him fall off and conservatives are railing at him for not throwing himself bodily off the rope into the safety net of immigration reform...which is as threadbare as Sandra Fluke’s undergarments.
