Only a demented liberal would think that this was a good idea for a school field trip. I know you were only kidding in your post, so that is not directed at you. :-)

It amazes he that some of the most stupid things done are done by so called educators.....really ...no one stepped up and said “is this a wise thing to do”!!!!

This is all typical liberal touchy-feely stuff that teaches nothing. My step-niece taught this way. She once had a classroom activity where they pretended the be fighting in trenches in WWI. I bet most of her students have no idea when WWI occurred, who was in it, and that there was a WWII 20 years later.

I wonder - when this School District takes kids on a field trip to a zoo, do they stage a “Planet of the Apes” reenactment?

We struck the big-time in upstate NY when we toured an actual, working dairy farm and saw where our milk, cheese, and ice-cream came from. What a treat that was!
We did take a trip to the Farmer’s Museum in Cooperstown where I saw the Cardiff Giant. Now that was cool! An eight foot tall stone man, perfectly fossilized from the era when Giants roamed the earth.

Didn’t the skewl teach that N-Word-A is acceptable as we learned during the Zimmerman trial, but N-Word-ER is what’s offensive.

They (Liberal-Progressives)now own the Northeast and far left coast.
This is just a small example of what they do. Once they have all of this formally great nation, there will be even worse stories of racism, political correctness and afirmative action.

We used to go on school field trips to the Oscar Meyer hot dog factory or something. Or the dairy farm.

Since race was not mentioned, does anyone have any doubt this was black teachers doing this to white kids?

"'The instructor told me if I were to run, they would whip me until I bled on the floor and then either cut my Achilles so I couldn't run again, or hang me,'" he told the school board. They pretended to be on a slave ship. They pretended to pick cotton. They pretended their instructors were their masters. Its called "prepping the battlespace", sensitizing the children to the evils of the white race and to the playing of many future race cards.

Slavery re-enactments, as if we dont have enough grievance obsession in that community. If you want a wound to heal, stop ripping off the scab.

Why is there “a slavery re-enactment?”
We’re reminded about this abomination every day and every minute. We can’t ever forget.
Liberals want to be sure every human that’s breathing knows about slavery and hangs his head low over it. All hail, great god of White Guilt!
