I said it before and am now saying it again.
There are too many people on the American right who hate the very notion of Barack Obama in the White House. It grates on them, just as it thrills – even now – tens of millions of others.
They hate not just his politics but him.
Think about all the days we have known him – from way back when he gave that breathtaking speech at the 2004 convention? Was there ever a time in all those days and weeks and months and years since that his haters on the right have stopped in their tracks and said, “Well, good for him. I liked the way he did that.”
Think hard. Have his haters ever stopped hating him?
When we got Bin Laden?
When the stock market doubled, doubling very 401K, making all those haters richer – twice as rich – as they were when Bush left us stranded with a dropping, scary economy? Did they ever look up and say, even hesitantly, “Well, I’ll give him this one?”(continued)

- Hung around with a domestic terrorist
- Was raised by a card-carrying communist
- Was involved with Tony Rezko and Rod Blagojevich
- Was screwing men
- Murdered several political liabilities

No, the right is just behaving the way the left did during the Bush years. With exception that a major magazine didn’t post degrading pictures of the Obama daughters. The right still has some manners; the left doesn’t.
Remember how the TV news anchors would number the times GWB went to Camp David or his TX ranch? Not a peep about the excessive vacations taken by the Obama family, relatives and friends.
Chris Matthews is not a journalist or a news reporter. He’s a spokesperson for Obama pretending to be a balanced news reporter. As the truth keeps being revealed about Benghazi, the IRS and SEAL team 6, fewer and fewer people feel compelled to give Obama the benefit of the doubt. I’m sure Chris is just going to get more upset.
Mathews has more hate in him for the whole nation. I don't know Obama enough to
personally hate him but his politics I deplore because of His hate for America.

I loathe, despise, think nothing of, am disgusted by, and f*rt in the general direction of quite probably the most inept, stupid, and dorky quota baby that ever was or ever will be.
And that, most certainly, doesn’t mean I hate the loathsome dork.
If I want African Americans to look up to and respect, I think Clarence Thomas, Walter Williams and Thomas Sowell, Condoleezza Rice and virtually all those that I have the pleasure to work with.

You're right about Mathews being a spokesperson for Obama ... however, he makes no pretense of being a balanced news reporter. He spews forth his liberal hatred for anything conservative on an almost daily basis.
Mental illness is a tragic thing.
Obama, early in his post college career, was deeply involved in stirring up discontent in Chicago; was studying revolutionary ideology from patrons on the extreme Left; was advocating the redistribution of other people's earnings; was sitting in a church, where the Pastor "damned" America & traditional American values. Since Matthews is utterly clueless as to the real issues confronting America, he apparently thinks that these are all minor details; that these are not reasons to oppose the career of one so involved!
Matthews apparently thinks that wishing such an involved individual well, is consistent with some form of "fairness." Sort of like someone praising Charles Manson, if instead of butchering a young woman, he one day took a break from his routine, and wrote a poem to spring or summer.
In my judgment, Matthews epitomizes the compulsive neurotic, at war with reality, who provides the verbal cover for those who would destroy the heritage that once made America & Americans, the envy of the world. (See Compassion Or Compulsion?)

That’s a hard word for me to use but it’s true.
I hate what he’s done to the USA and what he still plans to do.
