My email to Congressman McCarthy
VII / XXIX / MMXIII | pansgold

Congressman McCarthy,

The Oath of Enlistment I took in March, 1968 word for word.

"I, [REMOVED], do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

"I, [REMOVED], do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; …” I have never repudiated my oath and feel I am still bound by it.

Congressman McCarthy, the FOURTH AMENDMENT to the Constitution is part of the Bill of Rights that I swore to protect against domestic enemies. The language used was clear and easy to understand by the common man.

Americans are SECURE in their persons, houses, papers and effects from warrant less searches and seizures. Without a warrant of specificity particularly naming the place to be searched and persons or things to be seized. Supported by oath or affirmation of someone that saw or heard something suspicious.

I don’t think you and I disagree on anything I said so far.

I am truly confused by your vote to continue funding for NSA spying on innocent Americans lacking the requirements that you sir also swore to protect and defend.

America’s founding fathers didn’t agree with you about giving up freedom to gain temporary security.

Shame on you sir!

After this vote, I can no longer support your future candidacy for ANY office of trust.

I wish to be removed from any future contact by you or your office.

Respectful of your office as a United States Congressman,

NAME REMOVED 35800 HWY. 190 REMOVED SPRINGVILLE, CA 93265

Spy on me here without my consent: XXX XXX-6678 cellular XXX XXX-2797 facsimile REMOVED@gmail.com

I agree. While not in active service, nor even callable in inactive service, I still remember being sworn in on a day of Augusr, 1956. I specifically know of no time ever being “un-sworn,” though I have a certificate titled “Honorable Discharge” with my name and serial number on it. I still feel obligated with grateful appreciatoion for the training I receive—was never “un-trained” either.

It’s good to see the grievance directed at our “representatives” where it belongs.

The NSA is acting at the direction of our represntation.

The Constitution and Oaths of office mean nothing to this bunch of grifters on the Hill or the White House.

I, too remember my oath taken 6 January 1959. I, too was never “un-sworn” nor “un-trained”. I, too still am obligated to that oath.

I suspect that many, if not all, former service members feel the same. That would be several million strong. And armed.

And to the NSA trolls, FU.

Rock and hard place time, when the President of the United States is the chief domestic enemy.

I wonder. It seems to me that many must have either sworn to defend a different ("living"? /sarc) Constitution than I did; or they did not know, think, or care about what they were swearing to, especially of entering into elective office.

In my email to the Congressman I told him no further contact from him and mean it. There is no response for what he did. I'd like to see impeachment proceedings for oath breaking begun.

That's what should be done to every Congressman that voted to fund unconstitutional spying on Americans.

He was too lazy to read the little Pocket Constitution booklets he is so fond of passing out around election time before he voted.

Humm... I guess reading it wouldn't do any good if they can't understand it. On the other hand, lies told from the well on the House floor are not impeachable acts.
