Well, I did allow for the Pennsylvanians but sadly didn’t include the patriotic folks that still do reside in MA, NY VT, ME, CT, NH despite the ruling folks who make the entire state(s) look bad. My apologies and surely no offense was intended. I know a lot of folks are there because of family, family history, employment and various other reasons. Keep up the good fight and try to dump the libs who are the ones we hear about.
If it’s a dead mill town, then it’s the perfect place for a factory. I’m sure the residents will be appreciative.
It’s all good, as long as it’s in my state!
I’ve got about three thousand pounds of high quality black nylon. Stuff wears like iron. Wanna make a deal?
Well, your state is doing something right since you got rid of the previous governor.
Sounds interesting. What is the physical format? Pellets?
Amen to that.
“Execrable” is the term I like to use in describing Purdue.
She made Pelosi look positively statesmanlike.
No, it’s in the form of unused 168 gram parts (all the same part). 95% of them are still in their boxes.
Ruger stock (RGR) is at a low now. Good time to buy in, since their profits will increase dramatically with another plant.
CDNN has just moved into a new, much larger facility, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they expand their offerings even more! (No, I can’t tell you where it is- I once asked the owner where it was located, and he informed me that he never tells anyone the location of his business :).
It's low cost, plenty of available space for an attractive price, skilled American nonunion labor can be hired for below average wages. Remington Arms is headquartered about two miles from Mayodan, in Madison, NC.
Cost of living is low, housing and land are comparatively inexpensive, great highway connections, passenger jet service less than an hour away, FedEx hub less than an hour away.
They've chosen a fine place to relocate and they'll be welcomed with gratitude and open arms.
Welcome to North Carolina Sturm Ruger, and howdy neighbor!
There’s a fine view of Mayodan and the river from atop Cedar Mountain, really just a large rocky hill, but it’s a pretty area with nice homes scattered through the woods. I looked at land up there years ago.
Of course we do feel somewhat isolated since we have to cross New York to get to the rest of the USA, and we all know what Gov. Cuomo and Mayor Bloomberg are like.
At one time CDNN had some great deals on Doctor brand binoculars. I was saving up for one but they all sold out before I had enough to get one.
I did get a super deal on another one tho. Just before Tasco went out of business They came out with a binocular intended to compete with the big names such as Zeiss, Swarovski etc.
List price was something like $1200 and you could actually buy them for $500. That was around a third the price for the high end ones and the quality really was close, tho not quite equal to the high end ones.
The only problem was no one who was going to spend even $500 was not going to get a Tasco no matter how good it was.
When Tasco went belly up (Bushnell later bought the name Tasco and is using it to make about the same type as they were making before dying), CDNN apparently bought up a bunch of the better Tasco binoculars.
They advertised the model I was writing about, the $500 one at $99. I took a chance and ordered one. Sure enough it really was a high quality binocular completely on an even level with your typical $300-800 models and not very far from the $2000 ones.
I ordered a second one and it was as good as the first. Optical clarity was great. The only problem was the pull-up eye cups were too easy to move down when your eyes were pushing against them. I fixed that by just putting a bunch of rubber bands around the area below the eye piece to keep them from moving.
Looked it up on Wiki, just like you. Respelled.
That’s Jesus country; has little to do with us here in literate country. Still, wish them well in their post-NAFTA holocaust.
For some reason the ammo makers are far more risk adverse than gun makers. You never hear of a new ammo facility being built new from the ground up, even though there is a market.
Perhaps they think they don't have competition - if so they will be proven wrong. The market is just waiting for say an Israeli or Brazilian firm to set up shop here in a big way.
You’re the one mispelling the name of a place you purported to know something about. Are you sure you’re happy in “literate” country? Maybe you’d be happier up here with us rubes and bumpkins, lol. It’s just a few miles north of my home.
So, the parts would need to be shredded / chopped and then I can put them into an extruder to melt them and then push the nylon out the 3mm port to the filament spool. Correct?
If that is the case, I dont have a shredder and/or extruder at this time but could build one after I get going. There are some plans on the Internet that I can make that happen.
Can you give me the outer dimensions of the part?
Do you know if these parts have any fiber glass in the nylon?
Do you know the type of nylon? (6 or 6/6 or 6/12 or ??)
Yes they need to be shredded. They are black nylon 6. There is no fiberglass in the parts. Parts are roughly cylindrical and 2.5” dia. and about 4” length. I can mail you one if you like. Hell, I have 10,000 of them.
Let me give you my private email so we can coordinate further. davidlott@comcast.net
If you don’t mind, I would like to have one so I can make sure to build the shredder properly.
