How about ammo manufacturing?
Do they make Ammo?
No, not that I know of.
Oh...
Cool! Now get busy making 10/22 mags... especially the transparent 10-shot and the 25-shot. FReepmail me when you’re ready to ship. :-)
I’m working on a 10/22 mag design made from nearly indestructible industrial nylon. They wont rust or corrode, much less likely to dent, will stand up to a beating that would destroy a steel or aluminum mag, will have a nylon spring, and can be cleaned by washing them with soap and water.
Still a couple of months before production though.
Once they get it all set up they can move all their ops out of the traitorous northeast corridor. (P.S. no offense to the patriotic Pennsylvanians. My mom was born in PA.)
I’m wondering who is going to work there. Maybe fifty people and a brace of dogs lives in Mayoden.
It’s a dead mill town, but the area up there is pretty.
Thanks Dave! Looks like they have the rotary too (not clear, but I can’t be picky).
Have you ever done business with these guys? They’re in Abilene, so you *know* they’re righteous... :-)
Ruger is the best firearm maker alive.
When I was moving and a puppy dog chewed the large grip of my SR22P. They sent me one for free.
The guy said, “we at Ruger love a good story.”
Cool! Good luck with your R&D. Let me know when you’re ready to ship.
I have more Rugers than any other type of firearms. Best bang for the buck IMO.
I’d move from Rocky Mount to work there. I’m already in Manufacturing quality control. Maybe they could find a spot for me. :D
Yeah, I’ve bought plenty from them. In fact I just ordered from them again. Good guys and gals up there.
I have done business with CDNN many times. Excellent service always.
They also used to be the cheapest and maybe still are but not by the margin they used to have.
Many thanks, gentlemen. I’m going for it!
No fair!! Don't lump all of the freedom loving residents of rural New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine in with the urban liberals of Massachusetts, New York, and Connecticut. We're no more to blame for their ideas and politics than the rural residents of Pennsylvania are for the ideas and votes of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
Many New Hampshire residents work at Ruger and Sig Sauer, and except for a couple of pools of urban liberals and college students New Hampshire residents are strong supporters of our 2nd Amendment rights.
never heard that they make ammo.
