Bigoted, Religious [Zealots]‘: High School Senior Allegedly Expelled, Charged With Felonies Over Gay
The Blaze.com ^ | May. 20, 2013 | Billy Hallowell

Posted on 05/20/2013 11:05:57 AM PDT by Houmatt

Kaitlyn Hunt, 18, had her entire life before her. Graduation. College. Job prospects. The high school senior was just preparing to start her life when she found herself expelled and slapped with criminal charges over her engagement in a same-sex relationship. And what started as a relationship between two young women has snowballed into a legal battle that could land Hunt in prison.

The story has many twists, turns and oddities. And so far, only one side — that of Hunt family — is being told. The high school senior apparently met her girlfriend, who is now 15-years-old, on the school basketball team at Sebastian River High School in Sebastian, Florida; the two began dating at the beginning of the school year.

Great!

This thread *was* a doozy!

It brought the trolls to the zots, too. [smiles]

That other thread seems to have died after I stepped in and asked one of the apologists a pointed question.
We’ll see how long it takes for them to formulate a crowd sourced answer.

I’ll be heading out soon to look at a car.
So I likely won’t be back to eyeball it tonight.

That poster is often drawn to these threads, but having a discussion with him can be difficult.

I’ve seen that too.
More than one on that thread have been warned not to “promo for homo” on FR.
Interesting to see them still trying it, and trying to be slick about it.

It is likely that a lot of them are Libertarians rather than being homosexuals or having a homosexual relative.

Libertarians are for freedom, but some things that people do are destructive to themselves and society, and intolerable, which I find a naked “Gay” pride parade to be, for example.

My late brother was homosexual, but there is no way on God’s Green Earth that I would ever be in favor of calling that behavior “marriage.” Nor am I for homosexual people adopting children.

Lord Jesus in Heaven is watching the behavior of humanity toward His precious children. There is a special place in Hell for those who defile the children.

Yes, I think that the “slickness” bothers me almost as much as the attempt to normalize what is clearly aberrant.

Good luck with the car.

That particlar apologist is a crafty old lib troll. He is smart enough to lie low and not allow himself to be baited into a zot. I suspect that he is gone for good from that thread. He'll pop up someplace else supporting euthanasia or gays in the BSA in a few days, only to slip away quietly when someone calls him on it.

Thanks.

He and I have tangled before.
And you’re right, give it a few days and they’ll all be back on other threads doing the sme thing.

Great idea, BykrBayb. I keep forgetting about the keywords, but I’ll be more mindful in the future.

Oh! Mighty warrior princess, huh! Unmask the trolls. Cool!

A few of them have been homosexual, but I agree with you that most of them are probably Libertarians, although some have been liberals, who appear to come here to straighten us all out.

Yes, it gets quite irritating.
[Understatement of the year, for now.]
The clear push against Conservative ideals, the smug attitude about it.

Almost makes me wonder if they’re the people Schumer was referring to as “our republicans”, people who have prostituted themselves to the ideals of the Dems without a thought or hesitation.
[Obvious answer: yes, they are after a fashion.]

I was a libertarian for a few years. I even attended some libertarian gatherings. I thought libertarianism was about limited government and personal freedon. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that for most of the libertarians that I met it meant one thing and only one thing: legalizing drugs. Today I gather it means two things: 1.legalizing drugs and 2.making gay okay every day in every way, but I long ago recognized it for the anarchy that it is and fled back to sensible conservatism.

Imho, there is little difference between them and the newbie trolls, other than better vocabulary, grammar and spelling.

The difference is the newbie trolls do not know when to quit and get zotted posthaste. The slick old trolls know exactly how far they can go without drawing down a zot. Otherwise, you are correct. They use the same tired old liberal tropes and arguments.

Me, too.

I tried it, but the crowd I went to were more into libertine behavior than Libertarian, and some of them were wiccans, so that didn’t last years! More like a day or two, LOL!

The experience kind of tainted my opinion of the philosophy until I read up on all that stuff.

Now I’m very Conservative and slightly Libertarian with emphasis on Godly freedom and certainly not anarchy.

Wiccans! That must have been an experience! Libertarians are strange enough. LOL!
