A judge has ruled against the Obama administration's request for a stay of the decision allowing the morning-after pill to be made available to women of all ages without a prescription.
U.S. District Judge Edward R. Korman also lashed out at the administration for appealing his ruling, calling it a "frivolous" move meant to delay its implementation. Korman's ruling had been slated to take effect today.
But Korman did allow the administration some time to ask an appeals court for a stay before the ruling goes into effect.

Our children can’t take an aspirin in school for fear of law suits. Should one of these minors die from this morning after pill, their parents should sue these Rulers, ya think?
Amazing that even Barack Obama has a better idea of the right thing than this Grudge, er. judge.
They get to hide behind sovereign immunity, something which does not (yet) carry over to schools. Basically There Is Nobody To Sue. Incidentally the Congress who created the FDA and all that stuff could override all this with a bill.
(However, even if there is Nobody To Sue, there is plenty to Oust From Office. If the political will can be mustered before the entire concept of voting goes down the tubes.)
Shame that the brand name Sweet Tarts is already taken if kids are gonna be popping these like candy. < /cultural decline >
That is what I am hoping for. Oust them from office. These are extremely upsetting times these days.
They can’t even point a pencil or a finger at another kid without being suspended.
so basically little children can buy these but not 2 litter sodas?
