On the perjury charge, which should have been a no brainer, only 45 of the 55 Republicans voted to convict. All of the Democrats stood by their Commander in Chief. In today’s political environment I find it difficult to imagine the RINO Republican House Speaker Boehner allowing impeachment hearings under any circumstances. I’m 100% confident Harry Reid and a Democrat majority in the Senate will not convict Barack Obama of anything, particularly if a Republican House impeaches him. It takes a 2/3 majority in the Senate to convict.
With respect to the general staff of the armed forces, Obama has conducted an effective purge of the general officer corps over the past 6 years. The generals he has put in place are politicians who are more loyal to their patron than a 200+ year old piece of paper. Obama and his handlers made examples of McChrystal and Petraeus to show the other generals the penalty for not toeing the line.
