My sister and BIL live in Seattle. And I agree.
There are ways of delivery that no one seems to be thinking about.

Could even be Hussein — just the right kind of activity to get the President for Life thing going, a couple of nukes or an EMP to get a good “National Security Crisis” rolling in time to suspend elections for a few years.

I’ve actually had to deal with two severely disturbed men. Never underestimate them. Also, if they say something, no matter how wacko, you’d better assume they mean it.

Agreed.
The first rule of war: Never underestimate the enemy.

April 19 was also Ruby Ridge, Waco, Oklahoma City. We should be paying attention to NK and it’s leader. The warning signs are there.

Hook one of those things on drone, launch from a fishing trawler, and you could knock down half the buildings in downtown Seattle, which happens to be my home.

That could be the kind of thing he means by "diversified strike means."

When crazy people start threatening to kill you, I suggest paying attention.

I think this is a good idea as well.

"The North Korean army said Thursday it had final approval to launch "merciless" military strikes on the United States, involving the possible use of "cutting-edge" nuclear weapons."

I believe this is a diversionary tactic. China is the driver in Asia. China has some serious internal issues, including a huge housing bubble that is a result of severe restrictions on investments, and an acquired taste for Capitalism and subsequent eroding confidence in its Communist leadership.

It is believed that China will attempt to gain control of some disputed islands by military means, possibly even Taiwan, as a way to show the Chinese public that its leadership is competent.

They can only do this if the United States is not involved. If North Korea can divert US military attention away from Chinese military action, then the Chinese can take these islands easily, and (as the theory goes) stabilize confidence in Chinese communist leadership.

Expect North Korea to make a minor push into South Korea, or set off a nuke on/near a minor US holding. Something that will require full American attention without causing a full-blown war.

And yes, a weak and inexperienced American CIC with communist sympathies, is part of the Chinese-NK strategy.

I don’t find any of this funny. If the man is suicidal and/or mentally ill, he just might do it. And to think we pretty much would have a flawless missile defense system in place by now if we never had a democrat majority - it makes me sick.

Actually your scenario makes more sense. Why launch from NK? Launder the operation through a 3rd pty that can’t be traced to NK. Puts Obama is same place Bush was in with Iraq. Crazy people are not necessarily suicidal

The EMP might already be in orbit. If the NK satellite is an EMP, we couldn't stop it.

my personal favorite was the map showing their missiles going STRAIGHT through the earths core to hit the US :)

I am imagining missiles with little drill bits on the tips !

LOL

I think you are on the right track... but fail to see the bigger prize ...

China could use this as an excuse to take all of Korea.

I thought of that, and it has always been a possibility since the Korean war.

But I think China has become too dependent on business with the United States, or the rest of the world, to risk a trade embargo because of South Korea.

However, Taiwan is a real possibility (and has been the goal of mainland China since 1950), since this administration has a one-China position.
