This is a prayer thread for Mesta. I've been on the phone with her for hours today/yesterday (my sense of time is getting a little frassled), and we need a great amount of prayer.

Mesta went down hard a few days ago, I was on the phone when it happened and I heard her hit the floor and scream, then a bunch of running, slamming doors and chaos before the line went dead.

It was a couple of days before I was able to get her status and got my proper links to her hospital, and it doesn't look good. If she survives this time, she's going home to a cold house, at the edge of eviction, dragging an oxygen tank. She has a sort of a seal-team medical coverage, but no pension whatsoever. As for now, they're still doing tests, there's a team of doctors working on her and she's in and out of consciousness much of the time.

Whew. Just got this from Mesta. Now I can get coffee :).

24 hour monitor using a telephone modum.
No calls in or out and complete bedrest after spinal caused one of the most terrible headaches I ever had. Out cold most of the time.
Haven’t eaten yet. wobbly and sort of nauseous. Going to try some boullion first.
