Transportation Security Administration officers “humiliated” a Marine who lost both legs to an Improvised Explosive Device by requiring the wheelchair-bound Marine to stand and walk. They also had him remove both his prosthetic legs, according to a letter from Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-California).
In his complaint to TSA Administrator John Pistole, Hunter described the Marine as being “humiliated” by the TSA’s actions, based on accounts of the incident last week in Phoenix, Arizona.
“The individual escorting this Marine asked the TSA officer which of the two checkpoints to enter and received the response, ‘either one,’ only to be told moments later they should have entered a different way. As a result, a TSA officer asked the Marine to stand and walk to an alternate area, despite the fact that he physically could not stand or walk on his own,” Hunter explained in his letter.

As one who boarded over 100 airplanes last year all I can say is I am not surprised.
The jihadists took his legs, the TSA tried to take his dignity.
I guess the only surprise is that they didn’t wait to attempt to humiliate him on Veteran’s Day.
These people are seriously twisted.
You’d think at least one American who witnessed this would “stand up” for the Marine. In fact, if America was America everyone in the airport would have surrounded the Marine and told the ignorant TSA agents to go screw themselves. I guess it’s a good thing I don’t fly anymore. I’d probably have been arrested for “interfering” with a low information dumb ass.
Consider a charter flight for the longer trip, especially if there are others to share the cost. Try being treated as a welcome guest. Plus, you may be able to land at a smaller airport closer to your destination — more time and travel expense saved.
I thought one of the ‘reasons’ TSA was good was because it was employment for Vets, step out of uniform and into a ‘good paying, steady’ job.
UNTIL WE ALL decide “SCREW FLYING”, this will only get worse.
It will only stop when the Airlines tell the Govt to get out of their business.
Government should be making ‘guidelines’, Airports should be providing their own security and the passengers will have a say in what is ‘acceptable’.
Of course to the airlines, the passengers may as well be packages and probably get treated with less ‘respect’ than packages - on the whole.
Then again, as long as they are getting Government subsidies, Govt is going to tell them how to operate.
Start cutting into the profits and see what happens...
Then there is always the unions to contend with.
The Pilots ‘threaten’ to strike, encouraging ALL to join them, they do, the Pilots settle, the people at the bottom of the pole get nothing, they strike -ask for help- Pilots refuse.
Put Greed and Government in the same mix and guess who gets screwed and NO it won’t change, just get worse.
The TSA is all about poor minorities sticking it to a defenseless whitey.
Much like gun control.

When the societal collapse occurs, I already know who is first on the list to be dealt with.
Why not find the individual/s who did the humiliating. Find out where they live. Give them a dose of the humiliation.

My son is a Marine. I tried to stand up for him last week, and was firmly told that he wants to fight his own battles!

Starts Thursday AM IN THE CAR for 3210 mil3w 4ound trip over a 18 day period. Absolutely NO more flying for us until this crap stops.
I wish I would have been in that area when the incident took place. While they probably would have arrested me for making a scene, they would know I had been there to back up a fellow Marine. Damn those TSA people!

I personally refuse to fly, and will continue to do so as long as other affordable means of transportation are available to me. If necessary, I can drive to anywhere in the country in 36 hrs driving time max. So I am within a day and a half of anywhere in the country if two of us are driving.
One of these days I hope to be able to use charters, then I will fly again, in and out of private terminals.
I have given up flying. That’s not been easy but it’s been managable. It’s like living in a turd world dictatorship criminal enterprise. They are sexually molesting and threatening you and stealing your stuff when you fly.
I’m doing all I legally can to starve the beast. I have been amazed that Americans have tolerated the assualts on themselves and each other. America has changed, for sure. Darkness has decended.
